So do you think the US was wrong to respond to the chemical weapon attack?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If this was a one-off attack by the US, then no. However, if this is the start of a bigger operation, then yes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tend to agree bud, and the Bannon wing, along with many American first/ isolationist republicans and nationalists do not want Trump going back on his non- intervention stance as candidate.
Already, islamists and the Corbynista are slating the cruise attack.
Do we hit Assad, to then help Islamic state, and anger Russia, or focus on islamist extremism?

Personally, we should ensure Isis are weakened, then do politics with Syrian's plus Iraq, and perhaps Russia, to dump Assad!

Is there a point to playing an old clip of Putin ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Trump has the ear of Putin, as some claim, a deal may be possible to remove Assad, and target Isis as a unified international task force, including Arab and Muslim forces.

Have we worked out why Sweden and Norway are deserving of terrorist wrath yet, BTW?

Putin has got a point about America being the aggressors. If Russia did to America what America do th Russia there would be a nuclear war.

If Russia had troops on the border between US and South America everyone would freak out and see it as a threat.

Because Russia are the selected enemy it's fine though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Russia broke the treaty they had and flew planes etc around the US airspace some carrying nuclear weapons i wonder what would be said.

Theres a lot of Russian citizens in Ukraine, didn't we do a similar thing with the falklands? They have a lot of national interest in Ukraine and Europe are supplied with 25 % of their gas from Russia through gas pipelines through Ukraine also its key for their naval bases in the black sea etc. They did the same to Georgia in 2008 ?

He may well be corrupt he may well be w.e but all i see him speaking about is he wants to work worth the rest of the world strives for world peace etc yet is shut out by America and their allies... And they don't like him standing up for Russias national interests. They have every right to do what they do, America do the exact same yet nobody says a thing they do it more often and a larger scale too spending 12 x more. What were we doing in Iraq with America? Securing oil for national interests.

Us and America have backed dictators like Saddam Hussein and Colonel Gaddafi
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah until we've had enough then destroy them and groups like ISIS emerge from it all.

No i don't agree with what they are doing in Syria not even sure why its probably to do with not letting America get their way.

Think the BBC agree

Ever since the fall of Slobodan Milosevic in 2000, but especially after the 2004 "Orange Revolution" in Ukraine, the Russian leadership has been obsessed with the idea of America and the EU engineering the overthrow of governments that, for whatever reason, they find unsuitable.

Again they have a point thats what the US and europe do isn't it?
