If anderlecht win it that would be impressive. If we win it not so much as we should be winning it due to the gulf in resources. It's like a race where some of the runners start half way to the finish line- that's us.

Alright bad metaphor. I'll be really happy if we win it, but let's not make out its an amazingly impressive feat as we've had a very easy route and we have a ridiculous advantage over the competition in resource terms.
I think it's impressive. It's never easy to win a European competition and Tottenham, a team that's supposed to be better than United, crashed and burned against Gent or Genk, I still dunno which one they lost to.
It may not be amazingly impressive like Lester winning the league was for example, but it's still on the impressive side for me

Really? On paper yeah, but Pogs (I love the guy, but still) has been bad this year, Martial, Rashford etc. all suck. Ibra is good and Mkhi is alright and De Gea is a beast as usual but the rest ain't all that. Man Utd are in transition actually, other teams ain't.

If we win it won't be the greatest achievement ever but we've never won it before so it will be something.

Well 1st 11 is easily better player for player over the opposition.
Agreed though- I actually want us to win this more than somehow winning the PL this season as we've never win it.
Just not going to dress it up like its an super impressive achievement on a level playing field. We haven't faced one decent side yet really.
