Not read the replies but....
I wrote a reasonably impassioned post about Wenger last season midway but I can now see that he looks done.
I could do a thorough appraisal explaining why but I'll sum it up with this.
One yellow card in a 3-0 away loss in a London derby.
That soaks volumes if you've played to a half decent level (don't mean that like a dick).
Tbf his summer signings have not worked out while the club's around him have but his time has come.
Saying that I think he has already signed an extension.

I have seen Liverpool (80s) and Man Utd (90s & 00s) - historically the two recent power houses of English football - fall away in recent years from a position of dominance. Throughout this their fans - for the most part - have stuck to supporting the club regardless and in most cases with good humour. Yes there were groans at Utd over Moyes but their fans did not come out with the spite and vitriol aimed at Wenger.
======
How managers have both teams had since the end of the dominant years? United have had 3 in 4 years since Fergie - there is not a lot of time for spite and vitriol when the manager is sacked. Both Moyes and LvG got a fair amount of stick from the United fans, who were not their most humourous at the time!!

They certainly weren't. Look at Andy Tate!

Good Article
I did an article on Arsenal fans a while ago and said pretty much the same, 5 months after winning the FA cup for second season running your fans were booing the team off the pitch at a home game in september
I really hate the modern football fan , winning things is the holy grail and should be special not expected or demanded. The poison that the Arsenal fans are creating spread to the pitch last yr and Wenger should really of left then, and will only get worse.
He is going to throw away his legacy which is sad
Arsenal fans need to get back to enjoying just being a fan of your team through good and bad times, you have had much more glory than 99% of clubs fans
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And Spurs fans were booing the team and calling for the manager to be sacked in your best season for decades . Worry about your own.

Ah Henry - you were so complimentary above. Told me my article was very well written.
Now your claiming the conversation hasn't even started. Which is it to be?
A hypocrite? Or the tribal mentality got to you too?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My responses have been entirely consistent. I believe you have written a wum article, I believe it is written better and more subtley than most and I believe you have no interest in "genuine conversation". Hope that clears it up.
Oh, I may sometimes be a hypocrite - anyway who claims otherwise is kidding themselves, but I don't really go in for the whole tribal thing - there are dikheds everywhere.
You think the fans are the customers? The fans are the commodity, TommyEgg. The advertisers are the customer. Arsenal sells the fans to the advertisers.

Are Arsenal fans part of the problem?
