bertrand have a word. JT started as a striker ffs. Chelsea played Zouma in midfield doesn't mean hes a better player than Rio or JT.
Your talking out your ass. Same as Maldini, didn't have the pace of Rio, but superior in everything else, as is Terry. Delusion at it's finest my friend. Stam was a better Cb than Rio too.
Lol it's so typically English to say there isn't a CB in the world nowadays who could lace the boots of somebody like Tony Adams. There are CBs around who have played at the highest level for years, won CLs, won big international tournaments, etc... but they're apparently not as good as Adams who did none of the above
There are a few players man Utd fans just can't stop sucking their diiiicks. There's Scholes, Ferdinand, Carrick, Giggs etc. They were all very good players, but man Utd fans hype them up way too much.

You really think anyone will take you serious when you support three different clubs. I would wager somewhere between the 12 and 15 year old age range who hasn't seen either of them in their prime.
Terry was a great defender in a system set up to protect him. One of the best of the last 20 years across Europe.
Put him in a high line though . Horribly exposed under AVB for his mobility. Looked a pub player for England v Germany in 2010 with the equally cumbersome Upson.
Rio all day long, not even close. Put him in any system and he would have thrived. A Rolls Royce defender who had it all.

William Prunier > Ferdinand and John Terry.
Look at the Chelsea fans having a cry together on the Utd board
Terry and Rio were world class, with little to choose between them. Two of the best defenders of their generation, both won all there is to win at club level and both were part of the two best defensive partnerships the PL has seen.
