Yeah, weird having Kante marked so low.
I agree that his limitations were exposed today but he was still one of your better performers by far. Certainly more than Hazard.
Kante was our best player, worked so hard. The rest were hopeless today.

Kante certainly had the right intensity, however for all his engine he struggled a lot today. It was his positioning which let down the team, and it certainly isn't the first time where he has struggled in the big games.
The problem is both him and Matic leave so many gaps in midfield, for players to pick pockets. First goal both Matic and Kante were out of position, second goal he could have done a lot better too.
I love the player, but he needs a player next to him to sit back and allow him to press. Without that he just gets caught out.
Although, he did improve as the game went along. His performance in the first half was terrible.
I do rate him highly, but its because of this I expect more from him.
Hazard was poor too, maybe I was being a bit generous. However, his performance in the first half was more down to nobody being to pick a pass to him, and being man marked by Herrera.

The midfield protection wasn't there today, and the passing from midfield was dreadful.
Unfortunately Kante is a culprit of this. He tried his hardest, but as I say its no coincidence that the better teams have found it easy to find the gaps in midfield.
City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all caused us these problems.
Yeah, not sure how Kante gets a 3, while Zouma gets a 4, and Pedro and Fabregas get a 6!
my problem with kante is that he has no idea what to do with the ball once he wins it constantly got the ball just outside utds box and was clueless what to do

6 is a pretty average rating.
Fabregas did help us with possession, and did actually try made some decisive passing, rather than pass it from side to side.
Pedro struggled, but he was doing the right things by making runs in behind and running at players. Just found it difficult as the midfield really gave neither Hazard or Pedro anything to work with.
Pedro was invisible tbh
Kante was poor. Passing was poor and too many fouls.
