Mahrez is an idiot. Rested on his laurels when he won the league, believed the hype and now things he's better than he is.
Can see him being sold to China or something tbh.
Mahrez is not an idiot.
He is massively out of form though.
Big money move in the summer for his and our benefit. Let us both rebuild.
£40m please.
I think all the accolades he received last season weigh heavy on him. He's a down to earth guy so i don't think he feels he is bigger than the club or anything.
With teams putting 2,3 and even four men on him when he has the ball he is losing confidence. I think a more central role would give him more options but its hard to drop your best player even if he's out of form.
One season wonder like most of Leicester players from last season
I'd take a punt on him...he's massively one footed...but we should

No he isn't and not is Barry who I assume you're referring to. I think Mahrez needs to book his ideas up if he wants the move he looks like he wants. Been poor for most of the season and has been lucky not to lose his place in the starting 11 never mind being subbed in a game he was poor in.
The talent is undoubtedly there though is what I was trying to get at in the shambles of a reply. Bloody phone.
Here he is being "massively one footed" against Hull :

He only used one foot at a time Glory!

that's true , imagine how good he would be if he could shoot with both feet at the same time.

He's scored several good goals with his right foot and is nowhere near as one footed as say Maradona or Messi. There are loads of right footed players who can't use their left but it rarely gets noticed, only when it's a left footed player does anyone notice.
The problem I'm seeing with Mahrez is his confidence is down and he's trying too hard to compensate but he needs to relax and stop trying to force it. He's frustrated because he's out of form and yeah he's just trying too hard and it's not coming off.
He's clearly got the talent, get this season out of the way, get a proper preseason in and he'll be fine next season and I have no doubt he'll be here too.
CS's words prove he knows what he's doing and how to manage difficult situations and he won't have a problem with Mahrez, he's got a great attitude and CS knows him as well as anyone.
So what to do with Mahrez? Tell him to relax and not force his game and he'll be fine.
He should get a couple of games relaxing on the bench then let him show his stuff against Spurs.
I agree, a spell on the monkey will do him good.
