Beating Arsenal must have taken it out of them.
Cant bottle something that was never really yours to lose.
West Ham always raise their game - did we lose the title because we didn't win tonight - no, atleast we gave the neutrals something to talk about till now
People forget we were 10 points with no title challenge on before that chelsea palace game.

If Rachel Riley calls you bottlers
You are bottlers
Agreed mate
Incredible effort put in this season . For someone that's been following the club for years this isn't a Typical Spursy team. Wasn't expecting to win the league but wow!
I think we have improved on last season. Still on an upward curve

This entire article is a treatise on the term "bottling it".
Tottenham came into this game on the back of a blistering run of form, looking forward to sweep aside yet another underperforming London club and narrow the gap at the top to a single point.
To come from miles behind and threaten to take the season down to the wire, would have swung the massive psychological advantage in your favour.
Then you bottled it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh please. We've lost one game in ten and taken 50 from 60 points. We've bottled absolutely nothing
Bottling it is not performing to your best when under pressure. I missed the game.
Did Spurs play to the best of their ability when under pressure in this must win game?

We've won the last 9 must win games ffs! How many of your last 9 must win games did you win?
If anyone really believes it's a bottle job then they truly know fack all about football.
Are they denying they were in tte title race again? Spurs fans did the same after the Chelsea game last season.

It's not a bottle job but we are the nearly men of English football. Promise so much and give everyone hope but always fail at the last hurdle. We just don't do trophies unfortunately certainly not in my lifetime barely. Great team we have but this team will never be remembered unless we win something.

Apparently we had to make a record equalling 13 wins in a row to not have bottled it.

Well we were outsiders in a title race.
Unlike your lot in 2014
The word bottle is used incorrectly on this place every day
Fair play to spurs for at least keeling touch with Chelsea very good side who will continue to improve
Keeping touch with a club who have spent so much more on players deserves credit, spurs have built a team that is competitive at the top of the league while spending very little in comparison to teams around them

Appreciate this mate. We are taking a huge amount of stick for being the best challengers with the smallest budget of the teams around us. (I know this gets mentioned a lot but it's a more than fair point).
Half the people saying we bottled it just say it to wind us up, the other half genuinely mis-use the term.
