A goal for Brizzle would send blues down

Sounds like another blistering championship matchup, one shot on target from either side first half.

We should do away with the football part of the game and just get twenty crosses each, would cut back on injuries and fitness wouldn't matter anymore.

Not sure about that

Eno should have had 3 now. Lots of talent but no end product.
Beckford coming on to score the equaliser

Villa just equalised - and Newcastle go top!

Looking forward to Brighton going down with no points whatsoever.

More importantly, we finish ahead of Ipswich, 3 points clear. Now we can prepare for an assault on the title next year.

38 actually.

Make that 39, or 40 including this one.

I think these match day threads have lost their allure.

Better game than many we have watched this season and Wolves had the chances to have won much more convincingly.

Defence not really troubled by Preston with Silvio impresssing at left back. Will we take a chance on him next season?

Bit better from Saiss today but his passing often lets him down, Dicko had a decent game and Graham created all sorts of problems with good crosses in the first half. So much better a player than Cavaleiro.

Enobakhare caught the eye today with some promising play but the end product just isn't there and he missed two real sitters

Where the heck is everyone? Good to win the last game and well done to those 20,000+ who went.

Bute, why does it matter that we finished above a certain other club?

Forty two comments!

Sounded a lively game from the bits I caught on the radio. Typical of us to score in the first minute and not add to it though. Lamberts biggest challenge starts now I guess.

Redknap had earned the freedom of Small Heath I see.

£2m rumoured bonus. If they keep him, he'll get them promoted if given some cash.

Like £500m or something.

I thought it was relevant as it's the first season we've finished above Mick since we sacked him. So a bit of a milestone, and we've got that particular monkey off our back. Perhaps the Hodgson curse has finally been lifted.

Onwards and upwards from here I hope.

It's been a nightmare hasn't it, ahead once, behind once and level once, man he has shown us up, think he even beat us a few seasons back.

Two famous clubs being ruined by neanderthal managers intent on dishing up garbage is the reality.

The last Wolves manager to finish a season above Mick was Mick.

Well done, Walter and Paul
