He'd come in handy at left back as well when we need cover.
yes absolutely. On form Bale is a game changer. Plus we seem to have had less injuries this year than in previous ones so you never know, maybe Jose's training methods will suit him more.
For 65 million yes it would be worth the risk.
Realistically though he'd probably cost almost double that
If Real want De Gea and hw wants to go to Madrid then straight swap and we may consider it.
We'd then have the two most expensive players in the world in our team. That would surely have some commercial value?

Good player, but an injury prone. RM are probably fed up with him being injured all the time.
Madrid has ridiculous depth now, assensio looks the real deal <smile> isco now is coming into his own, also have Vasquez as well, don't think this sale would be too far fetched
Would rather take Kroos off them if he'd come.

Real Madrid giving game time to a youth product whilst United spend another £70m on a glamour signing.
How times have changed.
If Bale was up for 65 million then United would take that risk but ,for me,If you're wanting us to sign and out-and-out winger why not go for Monaco's Lemar.Very intelligent player, can play outwide or just off the striker and still has area's for him to improve.
If SAF was still in charge Lemar would be the one he'd be eyeing up in this Monaco team, imo.

If there's any justice in the world we'd be signing him.
No. He's injury prone. More so than at Spurs.
no i'm sick of injury prone players, in the long run it is not worth it and it will eventually impact his pace which is a big part of his game

Can't spend £65m on someone with Bale's recent injury record.
£65m on and injury prone player? No thanks, I’ve just had to fork out on a holiday and need new shoes.

We've given plenty of time to Jesse Lingard and Rashford. Thing about Asensio is that he's brilliant, he'd get game time anywhere so not so much a compliment to Madrid that they play him
