Cant feckin wait.
I don't think ive been this excited about the big kick off for feckin years.
Must admit I'm looking forward to this more than any Championship season for a long while. Like DJ cautiously optimistic. But its Wolves so just about anything could happen.
Bring it.
As excited as I have been for a long time over Wolves and delighted with how we have gone about business and how Nuno wants us to play.
I felt our biggest weakness was game control, particularly through the middle of the park and Nuno has gone about fixing that in a big way with the additions and style we appear to be adopting.
Happy as a pig in shat.
0-0
Bore draw. Murmuring galore. Nuno out.
I think bonatino will be a clever signing. Seems to have a genuine eye for goal. Enough infact to interest juve and city.
Last year we saw Costa doubled up on..but when he's back and part of a fluid trident with Graham and Jota (4-2-3-1) were seriously gonna scare the shieteout of teams

Has anyone seriously thought about the strength we have in depth? Currently (before signing a top striker which I'm sure we will) assuming we field a first 11 on Saturday as I previously suggested, in a 3:4:3 formation, we could still field a 4:4:2 out of the leftover players.
1st 11 (3-4-3)
...........Ruddy
Miranda.....Coady.....Boly
Doc....Neves.....Saiss.......Douglas
Graham.......Bonatini.........Jota
2nd 11 (4-4-2)
………………………Norris
Ofosu-Ayeh……Batth……..Bennett………Vinagre
Costa…………Ronan………....Price……….Cavaleiro
…………………..Zyro…………….Dicko
This side would hold their own in the Champo and the squad still contains some strong names on the bench:
Burgoyne
Hause
Marshall
Edwards
Gibbs-White
Enobakhare
Mason
Strong squad? I should say so!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree entirely Gem, however Costa, if fit would always be in the first 11, and Ronan and Dicko would also be near for me. Edwards and Marshall on the bench of the 2nd 11, not sure about that
I think Marshall will replace Doherty once fit.
Marshall would be a quality wing back, Lovely delivery
Agree Tino, be amazed if it doesn't happen.
Think we will find graham on the bench more often than not and an option for wing back when a game is going against us as I am not sure he fits the fluid front three thing.
He s goning through the male menopause !

Yeah the players can be jiggled about as much as you like as I wasn't picking a 1st 11 and 2nd 11 on player merit but more where they would fit into the example formations.
The main point is that be have back up for every position now and not backup that used to make people wince when they took to the field like Saville, Wallace and Evans.
Still need another striker though!

Just the usual pre-season summary every club gets in the New York Times... https://nyti.ms/2uq7YFX
Most of its been written before but it's a good read and a nice demonstration of our profile under Fosun.
I saw that article in the NYT and it does show the club's development as a big brand in football again. I understand that interest has also grown considerably in China where of course Wolves have games broadcast on pay per view
Got my tickets now for the first couple of away games of the season. Derby who have a modern comfortable stadium and Brentford where the away end must be the worst facilities in the division and has to be seen to be believed in the modern era.

we'll see
was decent enough to get into the england squad a couple of years back, from memory he's as good as Ikeme - who I presume you think is good enough
