The only issue I had with it was it seemed to take the player moaning to get it reviewed. If the ref was made aware as soon as the ball went out of play it would have took no extra time as the defender was getting treated.
True, it did but I also think without the word in his ear from off the pitch he may even then not reviewed it. Still it is a trial and early days, maybe they will smooth it out, they will have to.
No I haven't JFDI. I think it will be swings and roundabouts with the time factor. Some incidents take a long time anyway with players surrounding the ref to sway his decision and him having consultations with his lino's and throwing their handbags at each other.
I personally think that if any game changing or serious event occurs, the official watching the video just buzzes the ref on comms who can then make his judgment, as you said.
What other players of ours were involved JFDI?
Solanke (though not for much longer I suspect, shame I was on his schools governing board) and Clark-Salter.
I think Solanke should be shown the door if he's after 50,000 a week as sugested.
Invite him to find another club willing to pay him that.
Tammy is a better bet anyway and appears to have a far better attitude.
I agree, his dad is driving this though clearly didn't work for Nditi and he was from a neighbouring school.
Yeah, that was what I'd heard. I could be wrong but by the sound of it, his dad looks on him as his own meal ticket!
I see it's an early start on the 'Cobra Express' tomorrow!
Yep, it sure is. Colin's brother is over from Oz for his nieces wedding in a couple of weeks, lots to celebrate. I'm actually skipping tomorrow, going to make a day of it next week instead.
I say celebrate, she is marrying a pool fan.
Has your ST already been allocated JFDI?
Yes mate, sorry, I thought you had a ticket.
