A top CB should be the priority ( I would say a striker aswell, but that's unlikely).

Kos, Per and Mustafi are the best we have, and the first two are getting old and unreliable with injuries. Gabriel is inconsistent and also looking like one of those players who gets a big injury every season or so.

That leaves Chambers, who I don't really rate and Holding, who looks good but really needs to improve his one on one defending.

I'd go for Kostas Manolas if we can get him.

Manolas (e.g.), Kos, Per, Mustafi, Gabriel, Holding, Chambers and I'm hoping Bielik will get a look in if we can get rid/loan out a couple who are not Kos, Per or Mustafi.



As for striker, this Henry guy actually looks class from his youtube reel. It's not often i'm impressed by youtube compilations, but this guy looks like he has great dribbling, speed of thought and composure. Don't think we'll be getting any big names, much as I'd like us to.

We need a new Spine (GK, CB, CM, ST) and have for a while.

If no-one goes out and we sign this LB who's name I'm still not confident spelling (Koleseanic?) then I'd bring in a top CF who's able to offer a good allround game, rather than either goals or build up play. I'd keep Giroud and Welbeck, Giroud if he's happy to mostly be a bench player and Welbeck to rotate between CF & wide positions when players need a rest. I'd sell Lucas and Walcott.

In MF I'd try and get some money for Wilshere and bring in a good box to box midfielder. I like the look of Goretzka but we probably need someone more ready made.

In defence we should be well stocked and although none are currently world class defenders, three at the back seems to get the best out of pretty much all of them. I'd probably send Chambers back out on loan & if we get the opportunity to sign a real quality defender who's got a lot of years in him (someone like Varane, Ginter, that Greek guy from Roma) then take it, but otherwise the defence wouldn't worry me too much.

Think in goal we'll be ok for the season, personally I think now's the time I'd like to see Szcz come back in and fight for his place but I don't think it'll happen.

I'd also like to see us bring in some backroom staff who will challenge Wenger on things and get into the players now and again.

Yeah and claiming Welbeck being fit again is like a new signing. Then he gets injured after the transfer window shuts and is out for five months.

Would love to see Szczesny back. Been getting great reviews after Roma changed their GK coach (hint fooking hint, Arsenal).

He nearly cost Roma CL football the other day

Bet you we don't get a top striker yet again this window. Need a keeper, left back, and a world class striker as minimum.

If Sanchez does go, if we replace him with Mahrez and a very good / top class striker I think that would be good business.

I think it would be good to add a powerhouse midfielder, I read somewhere Matuidi might be available, he's great.
