The film snobs here don't really get Tarantino at all. Quite a few of his films were meant to be cheesy and even a bit foolish. Save your snobby comments for someone who really give a carp
_______________

Take your own advice, moron.

Just because you enjoy "cheesy and foolish" films that doesn't mean that intelligent people have to.

Are you implying that only stupid people enjoy his films? Surely not!

_______________

Only stupid people would accuse others of not "getting" a QT film.

We are not talking high brow stuff here...there isn't much to "get"...

I enjoyed Kill Bill, Django and to a lesser extent Pulp Fiction. The rest have been quite poor IMO. They have some great scenes (Christoph Waltz talking to the actress in Inglorious).

He's a superb actor

I think Pulp Fiction gets unfairly rated at times because it got so big and overexposed and 'mainstreamed'

If you saw it when it first came out it was like a nuclear bomb of 'holy shiiiiiiiite that was brilliant and unlike anything else'

Not seen all of them but my personal favourite is Inglorious. Some amazing performances and scenes of almost unbearable tension.

Obviously Pulp Fiction is a classic and I like Django a lot as well. Not seen Reservoir Dogs for ages. Kill Bill... decent.

1 Inglorious
2 Pulp Fiction
3 Django Unchained
The rest of them...

Hateful 8 I thought was terrible. By far his worst movie. And unlike most, I wasn't a fan of Django either.

1) Pulp Fiction
2) Kill Bill
3) Kill Bill 2
4) Inglorious
5) Res Dogs
6) Death Proof
7) Jackie Brown
8) Django
9) Hateful 8

But for those who haven't seen True Romance, you really have to. One of my favourite movies, probably in my all-time top 5.

Thing with Hateful Eight, it helps if you're a fan of those old TV shows Bonanza and Rawhide etc.

The film is based on those one off episodes where everyone good or bad was trapped in one location for a set amount of time. The tension in those episodes was high and the movie was an extension of that.

I liked Bonanza and Rawhide.

In the 70's and 80's. They should have stayed there. Plus of course those episodes were 49 mins, not 3hrs +.

It's like, I watched the 1st Star Trek movie the other week because Mrs.Biglaa has never seen it (and for some reason she wanted to). It was a different time, with a very different way of making movies, and looking at it now? It's actually a pretty boring movie. I'm really hoping when we get around to watching the Wrath of Khan it's as good as I remember!

The Wrath of Khan is a great rewatch to be fair.

The first Star Trek movie was always quite boring. Khan was immense and a standalone great sci-fi film let alone a Star Trek one.

I'm surprised Stretty hasn't been on here saying Tarantino's best film is undoubtedly Death Proof and we're all idiots for thinking otherwise.

And how can you go wrong with Val Kilmer as Elvis?

But yeah, young Brad. "They were here....... and they said that they were going to go ... there................. and they went."

Not to mention back then I was completely in love with Patricia Arquette....

C*nts like you are why people think they have to walk on eggshells while discussing their taste in film, music, etc. Sorry we all can't be as all-knowing as you are..
