Still paying for Martial aren't we ?
We put in a million add-ons in his contract to get him at the time.

I think rather than choosing a cf for the sake of it we should look at a quality AM who can chip in with goals and assist and possibly keep Zlatan
For me James Rodriguez would still be a very good option and along with possibly Perisic we would still be well stocked.

I still believe even if we were to get a top striker in its irrelevant as the main thing we need to do is change our style of play. A more attacking style will get the best out the likes of martial, Mkhi and Pogba IMO

We are playing to get the best out of Fellaini

Worst thing is you're actually right.
That's another important position in terms of our play is cm. We need a player who can control the midfield

Damning fact.

Are United fans genuinely enthused about Perisic?

Any time I have seen him I haven't been impressed, albeit probably only about 10-15 times in his career

Any CF's within the Prem of interest beyond Lukaku and Kane ?

The signing of Perisic is gonn improve our attacking play so much

He's gonna stretch the play wide so our more influential players like Pogba and Micky will have more space to operate in

To be fair there has got to be a few gems in Europe that have gone under the radar.

Surely we should be throwing huge money at Alexis Sanchez ?

You could do worse than Llorente as a short term signing.

Can do it in this league, good Zlatan replacement.

A player of similar attributes and position to Perisic is well needed,in my opinion. We are in desperate need of a player with quality giving us width.

But,going by reports,Perisic is being overpriced by Inter who have every right to I may add.

People get too fixated on about 4 or 5 players (usually ones the Metro or someone have linked us to) per year and anyone that isn't them is underwhelming.

How many people wanted Bailly?

One thing Jose is usually good at is spending money to build his side, which is what he's able to do here. I'm fairly confident whoever he buys will compliment he players we've got and help us become a more balanced and solid team, with more goals in it.

Chill out.

I agree Mourinho knows what he's doing. Instead of just forking out for superstars let's get players to actually improve us.

I think people are pretty chilled re our business so far

Maybe a few weeks ago, seen more people getting itchy feet and starting to moan/argue more lately, maybe since other sides like City or Liverpool have had solid links/signings and we've reportedly been 'snubbed' by a few.

Andre Silva has got very good numbers for Porto this season and is still young (21) though he's probably not a Jose type forward ,but I think we should always be open to variety in striking options.

Yeah. Iv seen a few people raging we didn't get Solankie or the Croat defender Arsenal have got

I think the fans are relatively calm about our transfer activity. The one thing fans dont like is us p/ssing money up the wall for average talent.

I'd be pretty happy with this summer

Perisic
James
Morata
Fabinho
Lindelof

Only pretty happy?

5 players and £200m I'd imagine.

Jose identifies the targets. If Woodward wants to deliver there is only so much negotiating he can do.

The world knows we are minted.

I do wish we'd start hearing some more about Fabinho though, would really like him in our midfield along side Herrera and Pog

I think City will spend £200 million
Chelsea close to that
Liverpool and Arsenal at least £100 million

Gonna be a huge summer

Don't agree that we need 3 more attackers though. We can get more out of the players we've got already, if we can't then the manager should really be questioned.

My worry a little is that Jose is not getting involved in any of our transfers and leading all up to Ed.
We've seen it before with players that they joined a club because of the persuasion from the manager.
