i want us to sign jordan lukaku as an understudy to alonso

Ridiculous fees for four strikers who wouldn't even make most people's top 20 strikers list.

Lukaku - PL experience
Mbappe - marketable and statement of intent
Belotti - best out of the four last season
Moratta - looks average to me but please buy him so Ed Woodward can't

Is that Lukaku' s younger brother ? Who does he play for ?

Oh and if I was Conte, I'd do whatever it takes tog et Sanchez.

With Sanchez and Hazard on he wings cutting in, you guys will walk the league again next year. In fact, that pairing would give Ronaldo/Bale and Neymar/Messi a run for their money!

Agree, unfortunately they have inflated prices, because clubs knows they can afford them.

Nah, Arsenal will not sell him to us. Unfortunately , Sanchez will sign either for Man City, Bayern or Juve.

THIS...TBH ARSENAL WOULD BE MAD TO SELL HIM TO AN ENGLISH CLUB.

Chelsea-already much better than arsenal
man utd-should massively improve and he would help that improvement.
city-already better than arsenal.

They're all expensive so sign the one who has the most potential, which is mbappe. He could be worth that money one day, the other three never will be.

Mbappe £100m (age 18)
Belotti £87m (age 23)
Lukaku £80m (age 24)
Morata £78m (age 24)

I'd say Mbappe, since he seems to look like a genuine world class talent.

I would argue that Mbappe is the riskier option, since he is a) young b) unproven in the pl 3) has only come out of the scene last season 4) a burden of a heavy price tag.

I think he'd be better staying at Monaco for his development sake. He has plenty of time ahead of him to move to a big club.

Watching Costa an Lukaku play upfront together would probably make my eyes bleed.

Yes riskier I agree. However the potential he has is massive.

Lukaku will score you goals, but I don't think he'll ever be in the world class bracket of player, same for the other two.

Mbappe could well end up a lesser player than Lukaku though.

In what sense ? Do you think it will be mistake playing them upfront together ?

Yes, two players who can't control the ball. Clumsy.

Costa is a fighter, a poacher and a finisher but a good footballer he is not. Same applies to lukaku.
Both need a whole team around them setting them up. Would nto work together.

Personally I'd go for Morata.

Severely underrated on here.

He'd link up brilliantly with Hazard and Pedro.

posted on 7/6/17

Would go Sanchez - Benzema - Morata

In that order.

Pedro and Hazard would get 20 plus goals each with Benzema up top.

ridiculous really...I don't get it at all....all they'll do is get in each others way...assuming we use them as a pair....if we don't....why are we buying him

Lukaku & Costa as a partnership would quite easily work. Costa naturally enjoys dropping deep/finding spaces (mainly to harass opposition players), and Lukaku prefers being as high up the pitch as possible - partnering him up would in fact alleviate the concern he'd have to become a better link up striker at a top club.

The bigger problem with having them as a partnership is what to do with Hazard. His only possible role would be that of a traditional no.10 tucked in behind them, instant downgrade on his effectiveness in our current formation.
