"How can your loved ones be a terrorist? If they are loved to you... it's a hypothetical question that doesn't make sense. And that's why it's stupid."

What?

Every terrorist will be loved by someone - mother, their children, partner, siblings. So, clearly a loved one could be a terrorist.

Not sure why you think it's a stupid question.

I agree with that. They will be loved by someone. It's hard to love someone as a friend who is a clear cut jihadist.

My point is that some vague connection with a jihaadist is not strong enough a reason for people to report their loved ones to the police. They could for example just be on speaking terms with nothing much in it.

You clearly have not read the survey or the report, there is little point continuing a conversation.

Even a fleeting association should be reported. Let the police/security services dig & assess whether it's a concerning relationship or not .....

Muslims ain't got a clue to any jihadists in their community. For ever 1 million Muslims, one might be a jihadist. And you expect them to contact the police on these short odds? Don't think so.

I disagree. I think plenty know about these jihaadists within the community & mosques. Sorry but I really do.

That's what you've been led to believe by the media by the frenzy they create to make it seem bigger than it is.

I can tell you 99% of Muslims are normal people going to mosque to pray and living a normal lifestyle. They ain't got a clue on any jihadists praying with them

Your entitled to your opinion.

Sorry Abu, trying to understand your point but failing.

You talk of a vague connection with a jihadist and then go to describe them as loved ones.

If they are their loved ones then there is more than a vague connection.

Sorry radebe. Should have made it clearer. I meant a vague connection between your family member/friend one and the jihaddist himself. Not between you and the family member.

I'd like to believe that the vast majority are exactly as you say, I agree I think they are. But 99% is total wishful thinking 👍🏽

This latest guy of three who did the London Bridge attack was a member of that anjum chowdrays group. Muslims for years have been saying that him and his followers hold extreme views are are detestable to the muslim community.

The government did nothing with him. As a matter of fact the BBC and Fox News bought him into their programmes and raised his profile.

Muslims called him out years ago!

I actually had a few choice words with that anjum Chowdry and his followers upon a chance meeting when I was eating at subways at Edware Road. I was telling him what he stood for was wrong.

Looking back highly risky of me. Him and his followers just seemed to ignore me.

And also what he was doing was wrong.

Actually 99% worldwide is an accurate figure seeing that there are billions of Muslims worldwide.

99% is a dream figure & completely unquantifiable ....... who's gonna admit to being a jihadist or a sympathiser or even knowing of any?

Only the outspoken head cases wear it as a badge of honour. Recent events perpetrated by shcumm in hiding for the most part.
