VC...Ive always rated Curtis Davies so yes I think that's a good signing. Andre Wisdom was fantastic for Derby so why wouldn't Gary Rowett want him? You can moan about Mel Morris all you want but if he left the club tmoro then think about how Derby County would be then. I will stand by my comments that Hendrick was a bigger loss to Derby than Hughes and Ince. Where did we finish last season without Hendrick and Martin I will add?

Ive not given up on Blackman either Igor. Thorne has had 2 knee ops and a broken leg. Not sure there is much bad luck out there for him now. Big player for us and so much changes the dynamic of our midfield.

Backo you know my view. I said they could sell anyone but they have to be replaced. If Keogh goes it's a real shame we have missed out on Roberts but you never know we might get better.

How do come to that conclusion Backo? Same way that you think that Blackman has something to offer. At least Camara would beat his marker for five minutes of the game, Blackman has not made a single contribution since he joined. He even looked awful in that tin pot competition against 3rd and 4th tier players.

So Hughes and Ince are so great yet we finish lower than previous years? Explain having them makes us any better. Rowett is after a team not just individuals.

Regarding Blackman...ive not seen enough to make a damning conclusion. I'm giving the lad a chance under Rowett....if Rowett don't sell him before getting the chance.

As I have said before, very few teams succeed by selling their best players and lots of teams fail because they do.

It wasn't a conclusion about Blackman but I have never seen him do anything on the pitch that a pub player couldn't do. I think our only hope this season is to bludgeon defences in to submission with Martin and Nugent. There isn't much creativity in midfield and without Ince we dont have much threat on the flanks.

Maybe one of Vydra or Weimann will come good but I'm not holding my breath. Bent will again warm the bench counting his money.

The 2 players that left us last season in Hendrick and Martin was ridiculous management on deadline day and replacing them with Anya and Vydra. Total opposites regarding the team. I don't get the same feeling letting Hughes and Ince go.
