My thoughts: you like to focus on outlier cases that, taken out of context, encourage us to believe that the poor are scroungers and the victims of things like that don't deserve much sympathy. The real picture is far more complex, and most poor people and victims of tragedy have no less self-respect and dignity as the average person. But it's telling that you choose to linger on stories like this as the most significant thing to talk about in relation to a tragedy in which dozens of people burned to death in substandard accommodation.

ITV has been a horrible channel. They brought us Tiswas, and that's about it, after that nothing I can remember.

I think you are very aware of the feelings surrounding the Grenfell victims. You also have a perverse desire to argue with others on this site with the main tenet being that they don't understand you. This new article is likely to be more of the same unfortunately but please prove me wrong in a clear and concise manner so we can avoid the exhausting arguments. You certainly have a lot of energy and it would be great if you could channel it into something that is more universally accepted as positive.
