Perhaps a sign of a broken relationship between the two of them?
I too will be surprised if Walker is able to improve any more on how he did under Poch.
Walker needs to pull the other one. We know it's more about money than working with Pep.

The problem Walker will have is that he will be playing alongside Stones and Shatamendi, who will be preoccupied with making sure they don`t make errors themselves rather than covering for Bonzo`s individual errors.
tbh if there is one thing you cannot fault poch for, its his development of fullbacks
rose walker davies and trippier have all improved considerably under him, with walker-peters bubbling away nicely in the background.
bit of an unnecessary dig, but I wish walker well

I actually think this is going to hit us harder than most people on here think it will. Everyone is say he's not that much cop, and I agree he has his defensive frailties. The way we play though, and the way the rest of the world is beginning to play, full backs are fast becoming the most important players in the team. In the absence of wingers, they are the solitary owners of width. Without them these days, teams don't have any. We're going to miss him massively and it might even have a knock on effect for Rose's form. If we have to go through him more now as a result, teams can simple double up on him to suffocate us.
Despite what others say, I really don't believe Trippier is in the same class. He can whip in a great cross but he won't stretch the game like Walker did.
Walker was real class and I think most fans are afraid of saying that we've now lost one of our best players, preferring to believe we didn't need him the first place. No chance. If City get that Mendy fella from Monaco at left back, with Walker down the right, they're gonna walk the league.

Kyle Campbell shoes himself
The coach, the training methods, the players around him have taken Walker to his best form. Wish him well but I don't think he has another level, with us or any other team.

Pretty sure City were gonna walk the league last year, and the year before that...
We will see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I only say that based on the fact that if Mendy comes they'll suddenly have so much width to their play, everyone else will flourish. That's why it's different from last year or the year before that. Sagna and Clichy are about 5 leagues below them. Makes all the difference.

You guys are reading way too much into everything
He can't really say "Pep has doubled my salary and that's why I'm really here" can he
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Basically this.
Also ace, 'unintelligent player' you have made a lot of unintelligent comments with regards to Walker the last few days.
I think Spurs have the better deal here anyway at that price dno about you lot? Don't get me wrong i think hes been pretty good for the past year and a half? even been one of the better performers for England when i've seen him.
However as good as hes been he still has flaws and i don't see him getting better under Pep as they are mainly defensive ones . He will do alright for City and they need him sure but even Clichy and Sagna did alright for them and didn't cost 50m.
On top of that Kyle Walker-Peters looks alright.
If anything he will go backwards, like Luke Shaw, another player Poch developed. Will be more exposed defensively the way City play I feel.
Don't see it as a dig at all, Guardiola is great at developing players. More praise to Pep rather than a dig at Poch.
Non-story.
Would rather keep a fit Rose than Walker, far better footballer.
Fack him and his miiinge licking dog .
Don't think he will do that well at City, at Spurs there's a strong defensive set up with good protection from the midfield. At City it's the opposite, he will look as average as he did pre Poch imo.

There isn't a better right back than Walker who spits could realistically sign. Correct me if I'm wrong?
Edin we both know 'unintelligent player' = black player with pace
