Could be a few reasons. Bakayoko coming back into fitness, moving luiz in to dm as a last resort or I hear we are pursuing oxlade so might have to sell first for funds for him.

Plus matic isn't exactly the best option himself

Conte does seem to make a decision on a player and then never change his mind. I think Matic would make more sense to be kept but don't really care what happens to your lot as long as you become worse.

I have yet to see Bakayoko play but its hard to imagine he will make us worse. Matic was pretty average last year if functional

We will buy another CM before the window closes.

I think we'll only play a 2 midfield system so this is probably enough.

How s that Chelsea have improved their squad which finished 24 points ahead of utd last season who have utd bought that is going to gain them at least 24 extra points. City are looking strong Spurs are looking the same therefore weaker arsenal should win the league according to JA606 as they have no europe to worry about. Liverpool are a forking mess as per norm so i think itll be out of city and Chelsea for the title next season
