I've never seen anything like this.

About an hour and a half later, the ball was placed by the corner flag which is where it was before the game was stopped, the game was restarted without the Marseille players on the pitch and the referee blew for full-time.

Nice win 1-0 but they'll probably be awarded a 3-0 win as Marseille refused to play.

might be a 3 or 4 horse race this season

It kind of was last season at one stage. Sevilla dropped off with only a few games to go didn’t they?

This is probably the first time you’d ever look at the teams and make Atleti favourites to win the league before the season starts.

atleti are probably just about favourites, but their inability to put teams away after scoring first might cost them

They had some of those problems last season, but Madrid and Barca’s squads look weaker now than last year. So I’d still make them favourites.
