Conte n Lukaku were just holding em back.

posted on 28/8/21

They look to have done well this summer considering they lost their manager, top scorer and the best wing-back in the world.

Dzeko is a sold n productve striker.
Lautaru was in the shadow of Lukaku n play a supporting role now can be himself n Correa is 'quality'

if Sensi can stay healthy n Barella continue too improve they r well set up.
Brzovc, Skriniar, DeVrij, Handanovic r very dependabul.

Obviously Conte built this side up into champions, but Inzaghi will get a lot of credit it they win it again this season.

I’d imagine he’ll be Chelsea’s next manager when they sack Tuchel next year.

Atalanta have quietly spended sheetloadsa €€€ this summer
look like they may well get Amrabat from Fiorentina who is potentially awesome.

Napoli also want him but cannot find the €2m needed 4 the loan fee

They’ve done an amazing job building themselves up to this level.

He was really good v Celtic this week. Less so in first leg but definitely can imagine him doing well there given their style/his.

Gasperini as well has done such an amazing job that he has most of his players performing to a level that they likely won’t outwith Atalanta.

Romero is undoubtedly a top class footballer but he’s so crazy aggressive I don’t know how he will cope with us/outwith a back 5.

Yeah quite a few players seem to struggle away from Atalanta.

Andy, how’s things at Celtic under the new manager? Heard he’s quite a fun coach.

It probably wouldn't work out as well as you'd think but I'd love to see what coaches like Sarri and Gasperini could do with full control at clubs with greater resources.

posted on 28/8/21

Like Bielsa, big clubs wouldn’t give them that kind of control.

Yeah I know, it's a shame in a way.

Chelsea’s defending is ridiculous now.

I honestly didn’t think Arsenal could be as bad as they were in the first half of last season, but this is something else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't get how many more free passes Arteta is going to get. I'm desensitised to it because we can all see what a car crash we are, then it gets to match day, we lose badly and there are absolutely no consequences for what we're seeing.

If we'd lost to Chelsea and City putting up a fight and making it really difficult for them, it'd suck to lose, but I can at least accept we made it a competitive game against superior opposition.

But we went down with a whimper and both sides battered us with ease. The manner of these performances are horrible.

Now is literally the perfect time to sack him. International break and a new manager would get time to assess his squad properly, rather than being chucked into the deep end. But we won't.

They will sack him when it's too late.

Right now, the season is still alive. 35 games left and still in the domestic cups. If we sack him, we can still have a reasonable campaign.

It makes it so much worse than nothing will happen and we are going to continue serving up this shiiiit.

What’s weird is the lack of criticism in the media. I dunno how he gets such an easy ride. It’s all about him being a good young coach but the players are shiiiiit.

Sarri was tried at Chelsea n Juventus n basically, the players wud not do whut he wanted them too n refuse too put in the effort required 2 make his systems work.

same with The Gasp at big clubs.
