Didn’t have the bottle to finish the tie off or see the game out. Look how easily they were rattled when Juve attacked them.
Even Spurtle said they bottled it ffs.

We are slowly getting depth and the refs aren’t against us like they are for you. Think the more money in the English game will help us continue to grow.
Napoli will get better with it with time as well, but maybe a league competition is a little out your grasp. Same with us.
Depends on your definition of bottle. But it’s fun to wind up Spurs fans saying it. And it’s true that they do lack bottle despite their protestations.
Didn’t think Pochettino reacted to Allegri’s subs. Needed to bring on Wanyama and change the shape I thought but it ended up being too late after the quick goals. Spurs’ lack of quality on the bench in attack hindered them chasing the game. Though I think Moura instead of Lamela would have made more sense. It was congested enough in the middle as it was, bringing on a player who cuts into the midfield all the time wasn’t gonna help.
Only Madrid left to defend the honour of Group H
Mourinho will destroy your honour. Yet again.

Spurs starting Dier and Davies counted against them as both aren't very good.
I do have a separate thought about spurs thinking about how mentality plays a huge part in games like these and clearly Juventus have a team of winners. With Spurs over the past 5 years the best players or highest performing players have ended up asking for more money or go to a better club and are either out the door or on their way out (Bale, Modric, Walker, Rose and Alderweireld soon to go). Just a musing in my brain I guess Kane would be the exception to this (although don't think he's won a trophy before). Maybe a case of 2 + 2 = 53 but yeah.
Also Alli would prob be better if he focused on positive attacking play over getting players booked. Was when Chielleni came in he rode the tackle wanted to get him booked instead of playing Eriksen in one on one. Maybe a bit harsh but fine margins and all that.

Big team mentality on the strike again, Spudds and PSG were celebrating after the group stage but the CL starts in february, at least for the big boys.

We weren’t celebrating, we were just proud of our boys to get out of the ‘group of death’.
I’d wanted a tough group before hand anyway as I knew we weren’t going to win the thing, it was a good tournament for us but a shame considering we fell short considering how strong we were for the majority of the two legs.
