As in the national team, not the league.

I hope he goes to farza on a 10 year contract

Not sure actually. But I doubt it’ll be as funny wherever he goes.

Bet you are happy, Tu Meke? I thought he’d see out his contract, to be honest. Looks like the club have forced him out. Big job for the next manager. Your squad needs a lot of work.

Was explaining to Tyke on another thread.

Happy isn't the right word. Bittersweet, whilst excited for what the future brings. Wenger has been past his best for years now.

Arsenal must be one of the wealthiest clubs in the world

will be interesting to see if they begin to spend big like Man Cs and Manchester Us etc.

If they do then they can attract top players easily.

I highly doubt that.

Said after the defeat to Newcastle. The club has a major rebuilding job in the summer.

To challenge top 4, we'll need two CBs and a midfielder.

To challenge for the title, we'll need the same plus a GK, LB, winger and manager, plus clearing out players who aren't good enough.

Tu Meke

Arsenal are wealthy, Forza, but not United/City wealthy. And as mentioned the squad needs a lot of work. So will take a little while to rebuild. But if they get the right manager the rebuild may take them places that Wenger no longer could. They may stay shiiiiit for years, but I guess the unkown is more exciting and more of a reason to be optimistic than what has been happening under Wenger.

Interesting times at Arsenal.
