Yeah didn’t look fussed. It was a nothing game really.

This rant from Ace earlier is amazing.

I proper flew off the handle at my missus. I was effing and blinding at the telly, she gave me all the usual bollox "for gods sake, why d'you have to get so irate it's only a bloody game of football" to which I replied "only a facking game of football? You haven't got a clue, this isn't one game of football this is 25 years of my facking life I've had to put up with this sheite - don't go on at me about stuff you don't facking understand for facks sake!!"

I blame my old man the facking useless t0sser. Starts taking me to Spurs just as we're going down the Gary Glitter, bestows decades of misery upon me without so much as a facking apology the cuuuunt. He won't be facking laughing when I scatter his ashes at the Emirates.

I don't wish Arsenal FC any wrong, but has any manager ever overstayed his welcome at a club quite as much as Arsène? I really doubt it.

Clough got Forest relegated tbf.

The worst thing is people accusing arsenal fans of being disloyal. We gave Wenger so much time before really asking him questions.

It eventually turned into abuse, which is obviously wrong.

Fair point on Clough, Tu Meke, but had people been clamouring for his removal for as long as they have for Wenger's?

I've quite a few forest supporting mates but they only ever talk about him in reverence, as you'd expect.
Social media wasn't a thing back then, so would be difficult to gauge fan reactions.

Probably worth doing an article on their board, quite a few of them on here.

They must've wanted him gone when they realised he was taking them down the "Gary Glitter".

Think my chairmen shouts werent bad, all dinosaurs.

With Clough, it's probably worth remembering not just what they won, but also where they'd come from.

Arsenal were already a great, historical side before Arsène, and will still be in years to come.

Forest were never really 'great' at any time either before or after Cloughie.
