Conte has a 68% win percentage in Serie A.
https://x.com/OptaPaolo/status/1798297245642895860?t=DokG8gzrvA51AOmFNB3K7A&s=19
It averages out at 25.84 wins in a 38 game season. For context, Napoli won 28 Serie games last season and Inter have won 29 games this season.
Madders misses out on England, good news for spurs and good news for England
Not a surprise, he’s been playing crap for ages and usually does in an England shirt.
He hit form the last few games of the season but yeah, hasn’t really been showing it on the pitch properly since the Chelsea game.
But like you said, hasn’t done much for England and it’s a position we are blessed in. Suits us as well as he can focus on being 100% for next season too.
He is the only dropped player announced so far right?
Conte’s average is brought down by the crap stint at Atalanta. At Juve and Inter his Serie A record is ridiculous. Averages 28 wins and 89 points per season.
He’ll probably start the season well, pick up a knock and then play crap for the remainder like he usually does. Used to do that with Leicester. He’s grate on form but not a very reliable player, Spurs could really do with someone to come in and take his place once in a while when his form is bad.
Haven’t seen any other names mentioned, and it’s obviously not official.
Who would you drop after him? I’d go with Trafford, Bowen, Dunk, Quansah, Jones and Watkins.

I’d like to keep one of Watkins or Bowen for running in behind, potentially Watkins even if he hasn’t been great for England.
Tough to see who would miss out though, I’m not fond of trippier but he has been important for England. I’d even consider Grealish but that would be a little rogue.
Think I’d probably agree with you ultimately
we r without 2 of our 3 purrfurred CBs 4 Euros
sameas lassed time gonna b missin lotsa playwrs ffs
Problem is they both look shiiiiit for England, I just don’t think they really suit us because they struggle against organised defences and we’re so used to playing with Kane.
Plus they play in Kane and Saka’s position, so will barely play. Given the problems we’ve got in midfield and defence, and the other attacking options, I’m not too fussed about them going when we’ll see little from them.

Well then, Grealish, Branthwaite and Maguire miss out.
Think I dislike the Maguire omission the most although I think Branthwaite is quality.
Who is Branthwst?
Not hurda him
Plays for Everton, pretty composed and athletically very impressive
LCB, if you've seen Van Der Ven at Spurs he's a similarish profile
I hurd Toot fans like vanderben butt never notice him tbh
I rly dont watch much ore with any focus
Mugwire is injured ^ so I take that back
Mugwire is grate 4 England when I watch em
He’s our best defender, he’ll be a big miss. When that becomes apparent at the Euros I’m sure fans will blame Southgate for it, though, rather than just acknowledging how important Mugwire is for us.
My friend is already blaming Maguire being a miss on Southgate for not blooding other centre backs in sooner.
