Following the announcement by Képler Laverán Lima Ferreira "Pepe" that he is retiring from professional football, F.C. Barcelona, its President and its Board of Directors would like to remind everyone that he's an absolute cแดnt.

Atlético Madrid changing the name of their stadium from «Cívitas Metropolitano» to «Riyadh Air Metropolitano», in a deal that’ll expire in 2033.
Riyadh Air, who also sponsor the shirts, are owned by the Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund (PIF).
What a crap name
Shuddakept Vicente Calderon
The Metropolitano is apt enough - it was the name of Atleti's first stadium.
The Calderón should never really have been called the Calderón.
It was initially called the Manzanares, which is the river of Madrid, on whose banks the stadium was built. They later renamed after Vicente Calderón, who was the chairman when it was refurbished a few years after it had been built. It may as well have been called Estadio Javier Barroso, as he was not only the president who commissioned the construction, but also the architect who designed it.
Fun fact: the first ever gol at the Calderón was scored by Luis Aragonés.
Another fun fact: Javier Barroso was a first cousin of Rafael Sánchez-Guerra, who had been chairman of Real Madrid just before the Civil War and was later a member of the government in exile during the Franco years.
here's another good one:
Santiago Bernabéu played a match for Atletico in 1920
traitor
Not really that surprising, tbh.
Madrid and Atleti played on adjacent pitches on Calle O'Donnell back then. It was probably just a day they were a man short, he was knocking around and they asked him to join in.
Napoli currant stadium was originully call Stadio Del Sole n first game was 2-1 win over Juventus in 1959
Lol, an they say clighmit chaindge is noo
