Over here they're setting up an emergency warning system, in the 'aftermath' of the 2021 volcanic eruption.

As a preliminary exercise in their emergency evacuation plans, last week we got an test emergency alert siren on our phones which was completely out of the blue and like wtf loud. Probably killed a few already from heart attacks.

I had something similar to that on my phone when I was in Korea.

That was a schit balloons alert

If I recall it was to test the update, as they have to have that alert in place because they’re technically still at work with North Korea.
