He’s still lacking there for me. But he’s an excellent player. He does get overrated by Chelsea fans. Even when he’s not really had a good game he’s praised as being grate and the best player on the pitch. Same used to happen with Gerrard.

Thought kante would struggle in the cl this year tbh, but he's done well.

It’s said compared to the opposition as well. He’s great, but there’s a lot of hyperbole around some of his performances I find.

In that game both Bale and Verts got a goal and an assist each. Fast forward 6 years and Verts hasn’t scored in 6 years after scoring 7 that season or something
