I’m not being down on it, just pointing out the repercussions. I’m really interested to see how they work it all out. The idea of the world cup in the winter from a footballing perspective is quite exciting when you think about it.

I’ve never had an issue with WCs based on the political alliances of the countries involved - cos everyone bar the Finnish are s. Yet when building stadiums costs lives and enslaved thousands then it’s a bit sheit.

Rumours of James returning to Madrid this summer. Could be a sensible decision and would save Madrid a fortune. Really underrated player.
