London is a sheit hole, the capital has gradually got worse in the last 10 years.

It's all the immigrants and Muslims, I tell ya

The fad comes from Birmingham, Coventry, Luton - places like that.
Legal to purchase acids, easy to hit and run as well. Perfect for gangs.

Katie Pipers fame since her attack has popularised it.

Acid attack's should mean life in prison in my opinion.

Inequality and a lack of state help for those who need it inevitably leads to stuff like this.

Not excusing the absolute s responible just outlining why London and the UK is heading the way it is.

That's a cop out, so you feel the government isn't helping you and then decide for revenge to ruin an innocent persons life? It's mindless thugs being allowed to parade our streets that have led to this.

Are they doing it to the well heeled and upwardly mobile?

It's not a good reason, just a very sad inevitability

In my opinion one of the worst things you can do to another person and should come with a mandatory 30 years.

And the rest.

I would say heavy punishment for people caught in possession but it would be to easy to set people up.

It also needs to be regulated better, being able to just buy it isn't acceptable in my book.

Sicko's will only find some other weapon of choice, probably start throwing petrol over people and setting them alight

I don't think it would come to that especially not on the scale acid attacks are rising at. Imagine being in a club or wherever and just having that chucked on you. It absolutley needs better regulations because this isn't slowing down any time soon.

I don't think sociopaths really have the same thought process on such things as regular humans.

Getting back to an earlier post where it was suggested these crimes are possibly the result of inequality, I don't understand the connection with random acid attacks, surely if you had a grievance with the state, then why attack the general public?
How will this bring about a change in circumstances?

This is just pure cowardice as I see it

posted on 1/8/17

I personally don't see it as having much, if anything to do with that.

It happened once, and chitty people who wanted to cause the upmost pain and suffering to people who they have an issue jumped on the bandwagon.

This ain't a certain religion/race thing, it's just a cowards way of settling a score or helping them to comit a crime

These people should be stoned to death, and i will participate

They take things a step further than that in Liverpool, they take the wheels away as well.

Of course it's cowardice.

My comment was regarding a general deterioration of society and a rise in crime being inevitable given the increasing inequality and decreasing services in this country:

Why should tax payers be footing the bill for this... I say the perpetrators have similar amounts of acid thrown on their facking faces and be left to deal with the medical bills on their own...
