Good to see you back on BTW UTC, even if your fellow Celtic fans are blanking you
FFS Curly - a fellow can't even have his dinner with his missus and then do the washing up without being slagged
UTC - I agree with most of what you say except I am a tad more confident in Kouassi than you are, having seen him play and dominate the midfield at Sunderland last Saturday (I know it was only a friendly)
Please bring back your match reports this season - we missed them last season

Rodgers bemoans the league standard by stating Celtic can't justify 3 strikers. That's fine if you've got 2 established pro's, leaving room for a 'project striker'. Dembele fits the mould here.
We've been unlucky with CB's so well just have to suck it up.
Ebouie and Sham will push Brown, Armstrong and MacGregor. Happy with that mix of graft and guile competing in midfield.
Astana was tight last year. We've got that experience. We're a more resilient team now so like pre Rosenberg I'm fairly happy with the draw.
Striker and a magician please Celtic.

We will do more business in the transfer market when the CL qualifiers are over and the main players have been picked for the EPL squads.
Also still think the Patrick Roberts scenario isn't over yet and IF we qualify for the CL groups, that might make it a bit more interesting and is a more attractive proposition for some players. 👍
Curly - thought I was getting a hard time for something else there having "ignored" UTC
PS I know I'm not English, but live in England

We will always do more business. We brought a right few quid in last year. Just don't think we should be holding back so much in the striker department.
As to Rangers I do expect to see a stronger outfit. However with so many changes I don't expect them to do well in the cups unless you count being pulled out 1st.
Yeah the fact that Brendan said Biton can okay CB scares me. One good game does not a good player make. We need a solid CB. I'd be inclined to bring Toure back on a short term deal until Xmas than go with Biton.
Up front the whole we can't have a third striker thing is nonsense. We are a big team FFS. The fact we cab only look at Aitchison in our reserves is sad. There's no one else, really? Moult for me like Curly says 😂
And can everyone stop busting Hayes ballz about the other night? How many European games has he played for us? He's barely played any games for us period FFS!
Someone who does need his ballz busting is Sinclair. End of last season he was poor and this season in the friendlies and in European games son far he's been shocking. Why is he undroppable?
Biton was always a decent player. It was his attitude that was concerning. It may be that Rodgers has been working with him behind the scenes a bit more and who knows, he's not exactly being chased by anyone so it could be he's realised playing well for us is his best move.
Toure? Please. He was shown up for pace against Motherwell. Fantastic football brain and obviously talented but his body can't do it any more. That's as clear as day.

Roberts had to have looked at Iheanacho moving on and realising he's no chance of playing.
It'll be down to the player as City may not be too hard to deal with.
Would agree. A new perspective might trigger something for big Nir. Biton is a footballer but lacks a bit in urgency. Hope he sees sense and does his bit.

Curly has left. Rumor was he was getting a coaching player job but nothing happened.
Ginger, you'd honestly rather have Biton in defence rather than Toure'? 😨
You'd need to sign him for 6 months just to play once?

As would I. Toure is done.
I'd have Bitton before Sviatchenko from what I watched on Wednesday.

Watching the Sunderland v Derby game just now. Jeezo it's poor quality. Stadium is only about a quarter full. Players can't string more than a couple of passes together. Can't believe this is the 5th most watched league in the world, and that they slag the quality of our teams.
VB - you are entitled to your viewpoint and I actually agree that we could with another CH and striker. However, I think that BR (and the players) have earned our trust. As long as Jozo and Griff play both legs versus Astana, I am confident we'll get through. With either Bitton, Lustig or Ajer by Jozo's side, we should be ok - and I would prefer any of them to the Kolo that we saw last season from Motherwell and BMB onwards
