You'd get better teams in the cl but it wouldn't be in the spirit of fairness so no.

4 is too many for any Country anyway let alone 6
Won't matter, a Spanish team will still win it
"In England we have potentially big teams missing on CL like Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Liverpool and it's unfair."
No it's not.

As far as I am aware no big teams are missing from this years Champions League, so don't see where you are coming from
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The article quite clearly says "potentially big teams".
the smaller nations you think it's fair that will miss out, are the champions of they're leagues and they still have to go through a couple of rounds of qualifying to get in!
i'm sorry but if one of the english big teams misses out then tough, you knew where you had to finish to qualify.
The performance of English teams in recent years doesn't indicate there should be 6 places for English clubs.
I fully expect at least two of this seasons representatives to be out by the end of the group stage.
Ur lucky we still have 4 spots thanks to the $hit show English teams have shown in the last few seasons.
they should let the top 3 from the big leagues in and it would make the europa more competetive and maybe be worth more money to teams aswell
I actually think there should be less teams from England and similar leagues and more guaranteed group spots for smaller nation champions
The quality would be awful though. Games like Barca 7-0 Celtic, Bayern 5-0 Rostov, Real 5-1 Legia and Arsenal 6-0 Ludogorets would be the norm.
It is meant to be the top competition in Europe, not a charity for teams in crap leagues.
Is it? Seems rather unfair to me, rewarding teams for winning very poor standard leagues and discriminating against teams who have to compete with the very best teams in the world for a place.
Champions League means exactly that ffs
Should be only the Champions then bring back the Cup Winners Cup
Gives smaller teams a chance to earn money instead of scrambling about for pennies
why should a 5th/6th placed team be reward for what is indeed failure
Champions League means exactly that - a tournament to find the Champions.
A champions only Champions League would be a ridiculous joke of a competition.
Smaller teams a chance to earn money? How? The sponsors would walk away, less chance of playing a big club as well.
Champions league is for the champions of European leagues to compete against each other. It isn't to find the champions
All champions should be given preferential treatment. Anyone who finishes 2nd and below should all have to go through qualification
Champions league is for the champions of European leagues to compete against each other. It isn't to find the champions
==========
No it isn't. Various non-champions compete in it.
It's literally in the name mate
Because it is a competition to find the champions of Europe.
No it's the champions of European leagues playing in a tournament to find the overall champions with some runners up and 3rd places thrown in
No, it is the best teams in Europe competing to be CHAMPIONS of Europe and some crap ones from crap leagues in the competition not on merit but geographical reasons hoping for a nice pay day by meeting one of the aforementioned teams.
You don't want teams conceding 10 goals over 2 legs to the better teams so no. Ideally should be only the champions but 3 possibly 4 is the absolute max that should be allowed or you get no hopers who concede double figures in there. You missed some mismatches from last year in there.
It should only be for top teams. If it was just dross from rubbish leagues you'd just get Bayern putting 10 past them over two legs. That's why there should be more Prem teams.
