Well we only play two centre half's so 3 is fine with one capable of stepping in if needed.

There's no need to have 4 centre backs on the books followed by guys who can deputise there when needed.

It needs sorting as does the RB position.

Lustig is dire.

Not just the story, but the way she rattled off her statement in monotone.. something just seemed off, like she was embarrassed to read it, as if she just made this story up as a wee white lie and it's now mothballed into a national story.

But knowing my hunches, she probably was kidnapped

Is he not just a slightly better James Forrest?

Was that not the argument between some of you lot last season, ie whether Forrest or Roberts should play out wide??

Perhaps my opinion on him is clouded by his horrendous miss against us

Pretty sure the vast majority were annoyed at Forrest starting ahead of him.

He was easily our best player the second half of last season.

Roberts is a special type of player who has skill that others don't have. If he rejoins Celtic, we'll have a much better chance of progressing in Europe

I'll take the point that Roberts is better than Forrest for the most part.

Its the fact that Celtic fans are willing to see £6m spent getting a slightly better James Forrest in the door that I'm struggling to get my head round.

Thats a $hed load of money in the current Scottish transfer climate, and you already have at least 2 players on your books that can play in Roberts position, one who recorded better stats than Roberts last season at a lesser club aswell.

£6m for that doesnt really add up for me

You're being harsh calling him a 'slightly better James Forrest'

He's got much more to his game.. can shoot for one, has excellent vision and a good weight of pass, can actually skin people as opposed to knocking it past the, and hoping to beat them for pace, and most of all he has an end product.

He's much, much better than Forrest.

Regards Hayes and Roberts.. how much game time did each have last season? That'll explain your stats.

Roberts is a boy and would easily be the best player in Scotland if he signed - unbelievable skill and vision and has toughened up to the point where he just gets up and on with it. A stunning player.

Stevie your head is not in the right place I guess that watching Rangers has left you a bit bereft of spotting very good footballers.

Sinclair is better at the moment. But Roberts is a great player with natural footballing ability. He could go as far as he wants in the game imo.

I do kind of agree with this. However, they haven't sold dembele yet. If he goes for the fees rumoured then Celtic would start buying players in the 10m mark if they thought they could sell on for £20m.
