They weren't poor players
Walker has been the no 1 RB of a top 6 club since he was 20/21
Rose took longer in his development because he was a midfielder in his youth
Both stood out in their PL loans at very early ages. Walker at Villa and Rose at Sunderland. Ask fans of those clubs if they were poor players back then
By jumping on the bandwagon I mean you followed the view that they were bad players during the 13/14 season when our entire team and set up was a mess. Refused to accept they were any good for years afterwards despite evidence

You also told us that Walker and Rose were poor players. You jump on bandwagons too easily
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's what Rose said about Spurs fans
Nah thought they were poor players before that season. Valencia has been number one right back at at a top six club for years, was poor until this season, though. I've acknowledged their improvement, however. That's not jumping on a bandwagon. You can rewrite history if you want, though, and ignore them being cliwns at the club before Pochettino went there. Your own fans even slagged off Rose, and looks like he hasn't forgiven them.
"The Americans took care of this nonsense with sporting wage caps."
I say send Danny Rose back to where he came from - Leeds United!
Some might say that would be punishment enough!
Bottom line is footballers have relatively short careers, hard to blame them for wanting to do better, if they can.
Valencia hasn't even been a RB for six years
Our fans are undoubtedly clowns for the abuse Rose got. Walker too. Like you, they fail to acknowledge that 22/23 year old defenders are not the finished product
I think the problem here is NOT what he said it's the timing of the statement.
Spurs have done fantastically well in recent seasons on a miniscule budget compared to the rest of the top 6 BUT that's not sustainable. Levy needs to up the wage structure as we have to search the bargain bucket for new players and current players will always have their heads turned knowing what far inferior players are getting at other clubs.
The whole situation has been caused by Chelsea and the 2 manc clubs distorting the market by paying ridiculous fees and equally ridicluous wages. How would you like it if a bloke in the next office/counter at McD's was being paid twice as much as you but clearly inferior - don't blame Danny he's only said what we already knew.
Nah four years now. Point being you can still be poor eben if at a top six club. I'm aware they aren't the finished product. Doesn't excuse Walker being crap when he was.
He was crap for one season. 12/13. It's a fact that he's always been a better player than given credit for by rivals. You'll see this season
It`s not like a Man United fan to jump on a bandwagon
Guess who???
"Everyone knows the club is going in the right direction and I'm over the moon that I've earned a new contract that will keep me here until I'm an old man!"
22/9/16
Posters on here don't seem to understand that to a footballer its all relative. If some other club will offer him 100,000GPB why would he stay where he is for 65,000GPB?
Levy is right about salaries and transfers going crazy, but he's competing in today's market. If Levy refuses to compete, which is what Rose is upset about, Levy will be stuck with a losing club. Something Rose knows very well.
As for sending Rose back to Leeds ..... who would you get to replace him? Macelo?? Davies ain't up to the job.
Beware, all you season ticket holders - time is getting short and Baldy is close to messing things up!
Low expectations: "Spurs have done fantastically well".
Well, not by this fan's expectations!
I expect us to WIN something.
Not come second.
And get knocked out of Europe in a preliminary round.
Sun running story that Rose got applauded when he went into the changing room
"DANNY ROSE got a hero’s welcome from a mutinous Tottenham dressing room following his explosive SunSport interview.
The full-back was fined two weeks’ wages and apologised to for the timing of his comments.
But it is understood Rose was applauded by colleagues at the training ground with others threatening to speak out over concerns at Tottenham being left behind by their rivals.
Poch has not confronted Rose over his claims.
But director of football operations Rebecca Caplehorn hauled the England star in to tell him he would be docked two weeks’ wages, around £130,000, for giving an interview without the club’s permission.
Rose is expected to contest the size of the fine."
Bigger question is can Spurs do better at Wembley for this season than they did in the CL last season? Has to be a big worry over there.
Stop bleating. You are a champions league club taking massive income from all that brings along no with prem money.
Danny Rose didn't choose to build a stadium but knows he's worth more than Walker is because he is a better footballer.
Stop playing at big time and reluctantly and sadly start paying. You lot were told last year you will struggle to keep your best unless you pay.
Honourable Spursan get away with it because they never win any major trophy nor seriously challenge in a standard season for the league. Small time 61ers

Davies not up to the job??? Thats why we won 13 out of 15 games with Danny out injured. Davies might not be as tenacious as Danny Rose but we did just fine without him. Players will always demand parity with their colleagues at other clubs. Can we afford to pay Rose and his chums £160k a week..Off course not. When the stadium is up and running and revenues increase perhaps but not now. We are overachieving because we have a great manager and gel as a team and have done this on less resources.
Demand £50 mill for Rose and get rid. We need an attacking midfielder , winger and defender. Job done.

Can't see all the players standing in the changing room clapping can you
Probably true that some aren't happy with thier deals but we already knew that.
Far too many greedy footballers these days. They all need a reality check. I wonder how many players actually contribute towards charities, they sulk about "only earning" £65,000 a week yet majority of normal people don't earn that in a year. Money has destroyed the game.
Haha yeah it would be bizarre to see them all clapping. Might have done as a joke though.. I'd hate to be Danny Rose waiting for a phone call from Daniel Levy or Poch right now...
I`d love us to make an example of the greedy little shiitehawke, force him to stay and if he doesnt knuckle down and perform let him rot in the reserves. We can not be dictated to by any player.
Kane & Able:
We need a lot of players - RB, Kane understudy, replacement for Lamela, ......
And we don't need to sell any more players.
Danny Rose got a thunderous welcome from his team mates - and that should tell you everything you need to know. Except I doubt you can understand it.
