i really love these articles.
that somebody would come on to a football forum for years and mention the titanic constantly for no reason is so funny to me
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's quality haha I try explaining 606 to my missus she thinks we are all bonkers 😂
Celine Dion Dublin was playing for United when the Premiership set sail.
Twenty-five years later, and Joe Hart Will Go On... Loan.
Excellent article as always Choice.
I must make one comment though,."the biggest and most famous ship ever made"..hmm..famous? maybe, but there have been a few bigger..like WAY bigger. The Seawise Giant, to use just one of its names, was around 500,000tonnes fully loaded. In Titanic terms: i.e. imperial tonnage, she had a Laden Displacement: 646,642 long tons. This, as I'm sure you kn ow, is close to 14 times heavier than the Titanic, which was a lightweight 46,328 tons.
As a point of immense interest, In a combined lift, the Sleipnir,Thialf and Saipem crane vessels could lift the Titanic in one go,if the right rigging could be devised. Amazing eh??
Also, GET IN!!!!!! 4-3!
646,642 tons Titanic was once the biggest but I do reluctantly concede there might've been bigger ships since then. Hard to imagine those cranes could lift Titanic, that is insane. Do you think it would be physically possible to raise the Titanic anymore? Or has that ship sailed? Great to be back and start with a win. 4-3 to the Arsenal
The largest ship ever built had four names: Seawise Giant, Happy Giant, Jahre Viking and Knock Nevis.
