Spurs were ridiculously convincing earlier in the day and what do you care? You support Sparta Rotterdam or whatever

City, United and spurs look the most organised, think they will be top 3, based off the opening week. Chelsea, arsenal, Liverpool to fight for 4th.

Very possibly, but it's the first game of the season and for all we know West Ham could be fighting relegation this season. They could finish in the top 6 and we later realise that was the beginning of a great season for united as well.

Point is you can't read much from the first game, so little point discussing how convincing it was.

In terms of results, I believe we were the most convincing this week.

Thought City looked good and the scoreline didn't represent how the actual game went.

Liverpool looked dodgy on the defensive side of the ball. Think they commit too many players forward. Arsenal, well... I'm not sure. They looked okay at times and horrendous in others. But they don't have a fully fit squad yet. So jury's still out. Tottenham looked okay today. Not great but not horrible. Chelsea...well.

Its not a wum article, but I dont see any other team breaking into the top 6, maybe Everton, but that is only if one of the top 6 implode.

Of course there is a point. Over the course of last season you have 13 draws at home and play turgid football, now you have a convincing win after changes made to your squad and new players in.

Of course, but if we'd been shambolic and lost 2-0 I'm sure plenty would be reading something into it.

I thought we'd get off to a slow start today so I was well pleased with what I saw.

You dispatched Leicester 4-1 early on last season, later we realised that was because Leicester struggled massively that season.

West ham could struggle this season, or not. We can't draw any conclusions from any sides results this weekend tbh

But fans are fickle. Leading up to our game yesterday Klopp had a god like status among many supporter s for us, I saw on another website today a lot of fans slagging him off and calling for his head because we drew the first game of the season.

Fans are fickle.

I have a feeling Chelsea will struggle again this season, there is still time left in the window though so you may get in some good signings.

I think Spurs had the best win of the top 6.i don't see too many going to Newcastle and coming away with 3 points.

Before the game pundits were bigging-up West Ham's signings as a 'statement of intent' or some such rubbish. After the game West Ham suddenly become relegation fodder.

It was a good performance, and Man U did what they've struggled to do since Ferguson, and that is kill a game off with goals.

To be fair to Liverpool, we're missing Coutinho, Sturridge and Lallana (arguably 3 of our best 4 players alongside Mane)

If you took Kane, Dele Ali and Eriksen out of Spurs they'd be hopeless. Likewise with City with Aguero and De Bruyne and likewise for United without Lukaku and Matip etc

Yes it's an excuse but a very valid one. Having said that, our defence is the worst in Europe.

Sturridge doesn't start, and Coutinho and Lallana couldn't have both started either unless Salah or Mane were dropped.
