Why are we resting players?

If anything Tuesday is the game to rest players.

Because Saturday is worth 3 points in a league we will likely win by 20 and Tuesday is worth about £30m compared to £5m.

That's why.

League is far from a given and is more important.

We won 5-0 its safe to assume that tie is over. I doubt the astana players think any different.

Can see aberdeen and rangers posing more of a challenge this year. For a start we wont get anywhere near 106 points, probably 90. So all it will take is for aberdeen to get a few more wins and it will be a tough fight.

We won't get as many points as last season. To do that again is highly unlikely. So chances are we could drop 10 points off out total. I can see either Rangers, Aberdeen or Hibs getting more points than Aberdeen did last season. That takes it closer as in into split.

Now it is not a guarantee but when it is still relatively close from March into April nerves can kick in and you never know how that can affect Celtic.

So not it's not a given.

Do i expect us to win it? Yes but nothing is a certainty
