If he bags a goal per game, I won't care at all, particularly if we end up re-signing Ibra for the second half of the season and (hopefully) the business end of the CL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I read something into a post match Mkhi interview, he said "we're a happier team, we were happy before (last season) but now we are happier."
The way he jumped to say they were happy before, made me think he didn't want to offend last seasons efforts - the notable difference being Zlatan.
Maybe I read it wrong, but I have a feeling Zlat had the vN effect last season. He scored - the team underperformed.
So now I'm wondering if getting Zlat back would be a hindrance.
Or would he or, more importantly, Mourinho, know Zlatan's place now he's been dropped?

I honestly don't get the criticism. It's not enough he's strong, fast, good in the air and clinical infront of goal. He now has to be Mark Hughes like with hold up play?
Bore off. He's not that type of player.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His ball retention is below average, this is obvious and was highlighted by Henry on Sky, his coach for the national team.
It blatantly obvious that this is an area of his game he needs to improve if he ever wants to be considered world class.

I think you are bang on. i was going to write an article on this. For me, signing Zlatan again does not fill me with any excitement- from what i have noticed, players like Mkhi and Martial are trying things now as Lukaku does not strike me as someone with a big ego, he won't complain and sulk if they don't pass to him. Lastly, I am not sure Zlatan is going to be happy playing second fiddle even at 40 years.

I think that is harsh.
Lukaku makes poor decisions. So does Rashford.
None of them will ever be perfect, but can obviously work on parts of their game. ,
Thing with Luk is, he's had his time to work on this part of his game.
But I'm enjoying this season more than any at the moment.
De Gea, Bailly, Matic, Pogba, Martial and Rashford in the same squad?
I'm happy to say Matic has more than exceeded expectations as well.
They started pretty low though.
Lukaku will not improve in this area, his overall style of play lacks any finesse and he's not the easiest player on the eye.
But he will score goals so it won't really be a problem.
Hernandez looks like he has improved a lot. This idea that he won't improve is bonkers.

He will do well for you but, beware, his head will go down and he will get lost in games if you get on his back and never stop moaning about his overall game, notwithstanding the number of goals he will get you.

Barcelona are bloody awful at the moment. I don't think any of the English sides should fear them. Their play is so disjointed and Busquets and Pique aside their midfield and defence is very poor.
They'll finish 3rd in La Liga this season and be an also-ran in the CL.
