who was the new looking ref for the huddersfield SH game? thought he reffed very well.
There was so much actual stoppage in the initial 5 minutes of added time so the referee got that right in the end.
Having said that his performance throughout the game was littered with errors.
Stuart Attwell 34 yrs old.
It was clear as day that Pep arguing and an injury took up at least 2 minutes of injury time thats a rough minimum time to be added on anyway. People need to get over it.
And Lacazettes goal was offside, like there's literally proof it was offside.
Who's reffing our game today?
Refs are pretty bad and clearly favour certain teams. We should have had 4 penalties already this season, got none. Spurs should have had 3 reds, got none.
But the injury time was fair. A minute had already gone without play before the 4th official even put his board up. Then there was an injury and sub.
You could try playing a game without a ref instead? I'm sure that would go well.
How can refs get pulled up on their mistakes? It just seems that they get forgotten about. Lacazettes goal last week, clearly onside but isn't given and we lose a point.
.....
VAR would have given it offside.
Not like Mike Dean to go unnoticed any game he refs...

Lacazette was offside ffs
I know but saying the Linesmen got it right so why blame it on the linesmen when all technology would have done was confirmed it offside. The Linesmen deserves praise for the correct call.
Lacazette was onside. BT, and then everyone after, used a freeze frame after the ball was played.
I'm all for legitimate criticism of refs, especially the perennial narcissist that is Mike Dean.
But as every football fan should know, the number of minutes indicated by the 4th official is a minimum. It's then a the ref's discretion to add time for additional stoppages.

Yeah an ex ref says it is offside but lets ignore everything. Yesterday we scored a goal that was also correctly allowed for Fellaini.
Lacazettes goal was by the letter of the law offside but you see them given all the time, like Man U's yesterday which was far worse. On another forum someone posted a frame by frame comparison which showed the one to prove he was offside was proably a frame too late and he was onside at the pointy of contact f passing the ball to him. Its too close to call so if the letter of the law had been followed correctly the benefit of the doubt should go to the attacking side. Unless its Arsenal of course, then everyone just says its correct. Man U's yesterday was clearly offside so they didnt show it with the line across the pitch when the pass was played on MOTD. They should have for consistency. Its when we have clear differences in the way teams are treated that I dont like it.
And add to the disallowed goal we should have had at least 2 penalties and the officials have cost us 3 points. The foul on Bellerin was almost identical to the one on Luiz yet the same presenters argue its not a foul on Bellerin and a clear foul on Luiz. Inconsistent again. And the other penalty shout was a clear one very similar to another foul that a free kick was given for the same day as well.

A ref said the Fellaini goal was by the letter of the law onside due to deflection by defender trying to play the ball to block it. Thats what the new rules state so they got it right.
I should say touched it on to Fellaini path.
I dont recall on MOTD there was any suggestion of a touch or deflection and they said it was "probably offside". The point was not about that though, it was about the absolute scrutiny of the Arsenal one and not for Man U. Where was the slo mo proving there was a touch or not? Where was the freeze frame with the offside line showing? My comment was about consistency for all teams. The coverage of those two was far from consistent.

Morgan played the ball.
All the people on BT disagreed with the ref who knows the rules lol.
Got_Better 4-0 is now on its 4-0.
Play was held up for 2 minutes at Bournemouth because of an injured B'mth player plus City made a substitution.
That's why they were still playing in the 97th minute.
