There are plenty of Scottish Nationalists who are angry with the SNP, in regard, for example, to their stance on EU membership.

But there are more that are angry at the tories and Labour in general, which is why the SNP have got where they are, and are very obviously not a cult.

There will be disappointment and perhaps anger at the lack of progressive policies made by the SNP - and understandably so, although yesterday's announcements were very welcome.

However does that mean they'll become abusive? I wouldn't have thought so. And would they be particularly abusive towards the like of Joanna Cherry, second in the abuse list behind Abbott?

She's done a lot of good in her time, although she often seems out of her depth.

Criticise her for being out of her depth, criticise her for being a hypocrite - but some of the abuse she gets is way beyond that. Nobody deserves the kind of abuse she gets.

I have to say I am pretty disappointed with the responses on this.

I was sitting waiting to see Curly respond and when he did it was level headed and agreeable

Only one narrow minded respondent who quickly disappeared.
