Hobbs and Fox in defence? Hobbs can't pass and Fox can't defend. Clough in the centre? Check their average height first.

Add to the above that Vaughan doesn't start? Zero chance.

Big side = counter that with build and height.

I thought that Murphy was drafted in for these type of games. Plus, if we're being bullied maybe one or two beasts up front to take their mind of relentless attacks.

Vellios not playing is a joke. Either sell him or get him in the squad. Nice to know we're paying £1 million for a guy to sit on his rs because he doesn't jog fast enough in training.

If that same lineup starts against Sunderland put your house on them winning!!

There's a lot of hindsight on here this morning, so I might as well add a bit more.

We have still not replaced Henri Lansbury. Nobody will do the ugly stuff like he had to at times and take a yellow for the team.

We still can't impose our game on other teams. That is why we had to go to a back four - AFTER TEN MINUTES. We should have stopped them getting the ball to Wallace.

Vaughan is a big miss; it could turn into the situation we had with Reidy.

Having just watched the 10 minutes of hi-lights on I-follow and what a load of crap that is compared to Forest Player. The defence looked disorganised and Smith has lost some of his confidence.

Fletcher scored one and made the 3rd; the second was a very good goal made possible by a skilful corner that dropped over Bouches head [not a lot he could do about that] and guided itself onto Fletchers forehead.
That Fletcher was allowed to run and cross inside our penalty area and no Forest player even attempted to mark him is atrocious.

Warbs has to shoulder a fair amount of the blame for picking the wrong team and using the wrong tactics early on.

Mancienne would have covered/blocked Fletchers cross for the third goal.

Warburton needs to show some faith in Smith and not drop him imo anyway. B.B should have played down the middle.

I am guessing that Hendo will have to wait until the Chelsea game to start a game. Let's see how he does in that.

Regarding the defence; it's not so much a matter of personnel , it is down to instilling organisation and discipline into whoever plays. Douggie Freeman did it, now Warbs needs to do the same. They could also do with more protection in front of them. Fox was left exposed by whoever was playing right midfield.

Also we need to decide what system we want to play and stick with it come what may and that means the academy teams, U21s and first team. It is not fair to ask a youngster to graduate from the U21s to the first team when one team plays a different system to the other.

Also changing the system during a match when they have been playing a certain system and had team talks based on a certain system in training leading up to the game is bonkers. It's asking for trouble.

Yep, it certainly sent a message I thought when thy subbed Clough. As well as smacking his confidence, it told Wednesday that Forest weren't quite sure how to approach them. I guess you have to credit Warburton for not wanting to rest on his laurels but maybe it could have been done at half time.

I feel for Clough. He was the main man at Bolton but seems to have become lost in the larger squad at Forest. I don't really think he is being played in a position where he can really be effective. He is too deep and gets out-battled. He needs to be much further forward.

Henderson might get his chance at Sunderland. As tough as it would be, if Smith conceded another two or three goals, he would be really feeling the pressure.
