Sounds like our home form is still leaving a lot to be desired., albeit good performances, but I do believe it'll be our away form that gets us up this season.

Seems like everyone is missing sitters too.

Just seen the Celtic result

No-one in the top 6 has conceded more goals than us but only Leeds and Hull have scored more. This tells me that our problems are still at the back rather than up front.

Got that lot coming up at the weekend T youngest step daughter is off the Manchester Met.

Missed the match tonight, am in Hanover for 2 days. Sounds like we've had another shocking ref tonight. And some dodgy defending as well by the sound of it. Did well to dig in and grab a point though I suppose.

Had the pleasure of watching the Celtic match with a Celtic fan and two French guys. The froggies didn't really have a clue but it was still funny.

We don't have a class finisher. Afobe would have a hat full playing in this team

Why? We scored 3 didn't we and apparently it was the defence that let us down.

We have a forward line of midfielders. They get midfielders goals, usually outside the area shots. As good as they are we would be so much better if we had an in the box finisher.

Really enjoyable game and I think a fair result. Disappointing to concede three and the first goal was poor defensively when we missed three chances to clear and failed. I thought the penalty was the correct decision and the third goal has been coming for a few games with Bristol getting a free header deep on the area while we zonally marked nobody. But I wouldn't be hard on Wolves because I thought Bristol played really well and have plenty of ability in their team.

But it was good to see us get three goals and threaten to score many more. I thought Batth, Vinagre, Neves and Bonatini all played very well. Jota was closely marked but still caused problems and Cavaleiro had some good moments.

The penalty appeal that got the crowd upset was close to where we sat and I thought it was a foul by Batth not on Batth

All three of our goals were within eight yards

Here is the foul on/by Batth, judge for yourselves, I don't see what Batth does wrong whilst the defenders jumps clean into him.

Don't agree it was a fair result at all as we were certainly the better side, had a goal disallowed which was very close and would like to see that again, Jota hit the bar and multiple other chances, they had about three or four chances and three of those we gifted them.

One of the noticeable differences was the midfield, we are more 'in control' with Saiss but N'diaye brings us something a little different and is more box to box, so it's swings and roundabouts, what you gain on one side you lose on the other.

Think Neves needs to step up and deliver a bit more personally. Cav was excellent and had the second most touches on the pitch and only played 75 minutes which is quite incredible for a forward and he deserves most credit for our first two goals I would say.

With a finisher we'd have scored eight.

This reminds me of the Leon debacle - another era in our history when we 'didn't need a striker'.

Survived Irma to find we drew with fecking Bristol City and conceded 3 goals at home.

How you getting on tam? Was it bad? A lot of thumb twiddling?

Wouldn't get down hearted about the game, we were the better side by a distance despite Bristol being decent and we are going to be well in the argument at the season's end.

Yeah, power cut out at about 10pm. We watched channel 13 news up till then, getting live updates on the hurricane. The coverage was actually really good, but the reporters are freaking maniacs; standing outside in Miami and other coastal areas with 100+ mph winds.

Got the power back today in our area. Driving around Kissimmee and Orlando yesterday and there was a lot of damage and debris everywhere. Trees uprooted, signs destroyed, lampposts uprooted, traffic signals not working. A lot of things are working again now.

This is the second time I have been to Florida and each time a category 4 hurricane has hit the state. I was here for Charlie in 2004 and now Irma in 2017.

Fly to New Orleans on Thursday. Got my tickets for Saints v Patriots.

We were supposed to go to Jacksonville on yesterday too. Had to cancel that and extend our stay here. Apparently it is flooded there.

I didnt think the Batth challenge was a penalty watching it last night. Will see the online highlights later no doubt.

Thought we played well again and i saw more quality football in one night than most of last season. A little unlucky to only draw but overall Brizzzle probably deserved a point. Doc MoTM for me...thought he was excellent all night and provided a constant threat going forward as well as good cover in defence.

posted on 13/9/17

Certainly don't think it was a penalty. The defender had every right to go for the ball and Danny just ran into him.

Increasingly impressed with Bonatini who links the play together really well and gets into scoring positions. Shame we have no real cover for him. The way he held the ball and layed it off to Jota when he hit the bar showed excellent centre forward play.

The wing backs are playing well and Doherty deserves credit for carrying on and doing well despite picking up a first half injury. Hope he is fit for Saturday.

Interesting to see Saiss come on to play in defence. Have thought for a while that will become his position and I suspect he willl get his first start there on Saturday instead of Miranda.
