Hoping that Duckens Nazon benefits from his experiences at Coven-try harder. The goals he's getting will be helping his confidence and development.
Not that we're in need of a striker, provided the one we have doesn't get injured. (Thinking of how things might have been if Bull's leg had been broken back in Division 4, or if Edwards had been decapitated during the course of last season.) So that shows we clearly need back up in the strikers department.) However, given that goals are being spread out amongst the rest of the side, we clearly don't need any more, and I'm sure Fosun won't go out and buy any, although I think had we lost Bull all those years ago, I'd be saying my argument would be for having extra strikers as back-up, but that conflicts with my assertation that we don't require another striker right now, and I think I need to have a lie down...
Bute do we have a recall on the Duck? I do feel if Botatini got love he would hit 20+ however the spoilt kids want more.

I don't know, but it would be great if he turns out to be good enough for us. After all, that's always the plan when we scout for, and recruit, such potential.
The players refer to him as Duke, bit better nickname than ducky. Saw him play for the U23s a few times last season and he looked more talented than Donovan Wilson although perhaps not such a natural scorer
I see Harry has gone from Birmingham, six months work, you do not want be paying tax on a full years earnings.

The 6 form teams at the moment may well be the ones to occupy the top 6 places at the end of the season:
Wolves, Leeds, Middlesborogh, Sheffield Wednesday, with Preston and Sheffield United the dark horses.
Derby, Fulham and Villa will be the other teams in contention for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I suspect Preston and Sheffield Utd will fade and Villa and Fulham will come in to it. Cardiff I think will drop away too. But I was impressed with Bristol City last week and I see they smashed Derby today
Never thought Harry and Birmingham were a very good match and I'm surprised he wanted stay on there this season. They should never have sacked Rowett who is probably as good as they are going to get as a tinpot club

He did what they called him in to do - keep them up, and even then, it's not clear whether their survival was entirely down to him. Agree with DJ, totally a fish out of water anywhere north of Watford.
A very sad day. Harry was doing a great job
Best manager brumigum have ever had.
Blues fans want Moyes or Big Sam.
Blues fans will get Lambert or Zenga.
Don't know if Moyes is looking for a job but Birmingham could be a good fit after his traumatic time at Sunderland. He did well at Everton, and that ability will still be within him.
No way Big Sam will be tempted.
Moyes is e busted flush. Manu broke him, he'll never recover

he did little wrong at Brum Igor. Still think he'll come good for you.
Your welcome. Note I said think not hope
Just seen the highlights, let's just make the most of the time we get to spend with Diogo Jota, at the moment it's like we're getting sucked off by the hottest cheer leader on the team, but we know that next week she'll be back bouncing on the captain of the football team.
Ruddy made some important saves last week but he's made some big errors too and that's another one today. I've been impressed with the little I've seen of Norris, would like to see him given a chance in the league

If Edwards had been injured and saiss played with price we would probably have finished several places higher, perhaps top ten.
Nice to see Nazon doing well at Coventry but unless we have an incredible injury list he won't play for us.
Game was played at a pedestrian pace yesterday which didn't make for great entertainment and could easily have been a 0-0 but for Jota and Ruddy.
Ruddy made one good save, caught some decent crosses, but dropped one cross and was totally to blame for the Forest goal. All the back three played well with Miranda having his best game so far. Doherty and Vinagre were both excellent in defence and going forward. Saiss was steady in midfield while Neves controlled the game and makes everything look easy. Cavaleiro gave the ball away remarkably often in the first half and no surprise if he had been replaced at the break but he came out and produced a superb cross to set up the first goal, but was replaced later by Marshall who did little. Bonatini is an excellent team player and links well with Jota. Got injured setting up the winner and was replaced up front by N'Diaye who was sent on up front to stop Forest building from the back and did that very well.
But Jota was the difference between the teams. Apart from his goals he was constantly carrying the ball deep into the Forest half and he is starting to look too good for this level.
nobody is too good for wolves
having watched the highlights now, I can only echo all the other 'WTFs?' regarding ruddy and forest's goal.
and jota once again looked brilliant.
our front three scores two more goals and go close on a number of occasions. defensively we tighten it back up. only annoying thing is missing out on a clean sheet from another individual error. there's such a lot of confidence in the side at the moment and I am hoping to watch our reserves run out comfortable winners on Tuesday to take us into the fourth round and spread some of that confidence throughout the squad.
exciting times and although I am trying to remain level headed, starting to think the FOSUN new dawn has properly arrived this time!
