Pakistan team is amazing as playing Rangana Herath is not that difficult as they are making it look.
Said a few months ago test team has gone to pot, limited overs game on the up, obviously can’t cope with all formats
I think we just need to be patient with the test team because we have lost two so called legends who bailed us out of days like today countless times. Having said that:
Masood is terrible. He comes from a very rich family so no surprises he is getting a game even when he averages 23 in 12 tests
Sami - will still give him time, he's 21
Shafiq - been on the downward spiral for a while now. Don't think he will step up.
Babar - needs to deliver same promise in tests or he will be labelled with the same brush as his cousins the Kackmals.
Pakistan are three good pacers and 4 batsmen away from becoming a world class outfit. Should be easy given that never-ending talent supply.

That's what India said before the Champions trophy final
Fair play to Lanka... totally deserved. Poor showing from Pakistan... batting line looks horrendous. We'll lose this series for sure
We got 1 test to defend our 10 year unbeaten home record. Pressure is on for sure.
We will win 2nd test v Sri Lanka and we should not have lost today.Kash I think Shafiq will step up in tests in the future and Mohammad Amir and Babar Azam should have played faster and Pakistan would have won this match by 2 or 3 wickets.

Absolutely hammered you in the Champions Trophy final though. What have you got to say about that hey? yeah thought so, sit down and shut up!
If you lose a series against SL, then you have to be a really bad team. Zimbabwe managed to win a few matches against this team and India completed destroyed this Lankan side.
I reckon pak will still manage to win the series. You have to question amir’s position in the side. Since his comeback his test returns have been very poor.
Yes Amir has been poor in tests but quite good in ODIs and yes Pakistan won't win this two match series v Sri Lanka as its only 2 tests but we won't lose it either.Still we should be winning comfortably 2-0 and not drawing 1-1 or losing it 2-0 or even 1-0.
Pressure on Pakistan for next one. Win toss and we have a chance, otherwise we’ve lost the series
SL could do what India, SA, England, Oz, WI and NZ have failed to do which is to beat Pakistan at home (neutral venue).
Pakistan ODI squad: Shehzad, Fakhar, Imam, Hafeez, Babar, Malik, Haris, Sarfraz, Imad, Shadab, Faheem, Hasan Ali, Amir, Rumman, Junaid.
Surprised there’s no azhar ali especially after playing well in the champions trophy... but he’s been replaced by inzi’s nephew
The CT was the exception rather than the rule. We can't rely on Fakhar every game. Although I don't get why we have gone for his nephew. In domestic cricket he averages 36 at S/R of 74
Sami Aslam averages 48 at a S/R of 88.
Agree Kash makes no sense whatsoever
Anyway, Lanka have won the toss and the series here.
Why have the dropped Hasan for Wahab
When was the last time Wahab did something good? I remember him bowling that exceptional spell of quick bowling a couple of years ago in the second test against England.
That was the last time he did anything. He doesn't swing the ball and is only dangerous if he can get reverse. He is just a 90MPH bowling machine.
Apologies to Sri Lanka, I went to check the score and thought "good start, 63/0" next ball and Silva's gone.
I've also noticed that South Africa are coming up to 200 without loss. Bangladesh won the toss again and put them in again! What were they thinking?
Different result this time, checked at 118/1, next ball, six!
