As much as I want to see England qualify, I'm basically only watching tonight to see if/how many Kane will score. Any team with Henderson, Sterling, Ox, Livermore & Lingard is truley depressing !

Henderson at Winks' age in Sunderland looked a better player comfortably. Your inclusion of Sterling is more absurd. Apart from the fact he's actually been good for City and had several great spells in both Liverpool and City in the past, Sterling even as a teenager showed vastly more promise than Winks does now.
I've seen far more talented players than Winks inexplicably flop. Januzaj is plying his trade in Sociedad now after he was starting games for Fergie's Man U as a teen. Some of you guys need to tone it down a tad with the ridiculous hype. Harry Winks is not going to save English football and frankly, after watching dozens of games, I'm struggling to see what makes him any different from Cleverley.
Assuming no injuries (or suspensions) England actually has a very solid team:
Kane
Sterling Dele Lallana
Dier Henderson
Rose Cahill Keane/Stones Walker
Butland/Pickford
Is a very solid XI and we have reasonable enough back-up as well.

I'm pretty damn sure me and Darren from the Man U board slated Alli's technique, but praised his goal-scoring attributes. Those opinions have hardly changed. There is absolute fack all that Harry Winks does now that Cleverley wasn't doing as a young academy product from Man U. He was starting regularly for a title-winning and European contending team and impressing frequently and was an England regular too.
Clearly though, you're delusional enough to think comparing Winks to Cleverley is some kind of insult.

A stupid, incorrect statement. I'm about the biggest opposition fanboy of Harry Kane that you'll see and I think he's world class and the best striker in the league. I frequently called Walker, Rose and Alderweireld the best players in the league in their positions. I've frequently called Dembele the best CM on his day in the league. Lennon played on the right mainly throughout his career and hugged the sideline and put cross after cross into the box.
Sterling plays on all sides, a lot through the middle, and is used as a goal threat getting more involved in through balls and scoring a lot more goals (Has already scored more career goals than Lennon).
His comparison is closer to Walcott if you want to make lazy comparisons.
Comparing Sterling to Lennon would be like comparing Bentley to Mirallas.

That's a load of horsesheite though. Cleverly is hardly Carrick. He's a mobile player and makes driving runs too. And no, Winks is not remotely similar to the technical proficiency of Modric. Regardless of your clarification, you can't even put them in the same sentence.
