Good day for us today sandy

The pub I’m in went mad when Watford scored

Games like that are tough but to get the win will help confidence and gives us a good platform to build.

Liverpool next so should be plenty space in attack to play.

We were fortunate to get the goal early on second half today, Bournemouth weren't up to much. They had the best chances it seemed in the first half. Eriksen and Son were both not at there best today and it showed. We need the same set up and mindset which Bournemouth showed against us today against Madrid next week

Evening Hounslows

I got in from the match about 6.45, put the TV on, whilst the Mrs was sorting out the dinner, saw Arsenal were winning 1-0, so switched channels, then I put it back with a couple of minutes to go, and was pleasantly surprised to see Arsenal getting smashed. Good day all round really, with Chelsea losing, I expected both Chelsea and Arsenal to win comfortably.

Didn't see the match - my TV forsed me to watch Chelsea being outplayed by Palace
Questions:
Why was Aurier left on the bench?
How did Sanchez (our record breaking signing) play?
Why does Pochettino leave Llorente on the bench until min 85? (some say Kane looked tired)
How's Alli playing?

I'm guessing Lloris deserves a special bonus from Pochettinoo (or Levy)?
Saved 2 pts at the end according to reports.

Why would we bring on a RB in a game we controlled

Sanchez wasn’t very good

Llorente isn’t very good is probably the reason

Okay

Saved us in the first half

If you wait until the game is lost to bring your RB on then why buy an RB in the first place?
Anyways Aurier is supposed to be a Walker replacement and Walker was an attacking RB - if you remember that far back?

And why did we buy llorente if he "isn't very good"?

As I said -if you can read - I couldn't watch the game.
But maybe someone more intelligent that you can answer my questions - kindly ignore them.

Ted, Spurs did just about enough to win today, but badly need players like Wanyama, Dembele, Rose, Davies, Lamela back sooner rather than later.

The bench was extremely weak today, with Sissoko being the best player on it. Although to be fair, he did OK when he came on. I would have started him over Son, who was very poor.

Sanchez started well, spraying passes about from the back. Looked more confident. Got beat a few times and looked really tentative after that. He'll come good

Completely disagree. Very shaky on the ball, got far too tight resulting in losing most his duals.

Gets away with it in a 3 but in a Two especially with Trippier to his right who himself isn’t very good defensively it showed how raw he is.

I have no doubt he’ll become good for us but there’s a lot of work needed

Just heard on the TV that apparently City and United are running away with the title. Er Spurs are a full three points behind all singing, all dancing United. Honestly they pundits have already decided the title is a two horse race in October. Spurs will definitely be up there come next May. They are very, very hard to beat.

Thanks Sandy ole boy!
When someone parks the bus with a back 5, Lamela is exactly the kind of player we need.
And God alone knows wots going to happen in Madrid without Danny Rose, Wanyama and Dembele.

Can we rely on Llorente a bit more, do you think?
And why was Aurier not playing today?
Cheers

He’s young and raw but he will get better

Think our players like Sanchez and Son might be suffering from jet lag, hence their performances today
