Warburton is a cheese merchant. Useless manager, never adapts, continues to play one way no matter how the game shapes up.

Plan B is to do Plan A better.

Jeez bear, we all know you give it large pre match and disappear into hibernation when the inevitable happens.

But at least get the DAY of the match right

I believe the truth about Mark might be a fairly diluted version of what Rangers fans suggest. We'd probably get a more accurate assessment from Brentford fans if we could find some to do that.

We know the expectations up there were massive, we know he managed to do what the like of McCoist wasn't able to do and get them promoted back. Beating Celtic on the way to a cup at the time.

We know it was suggested he'll never change formation, way he plays etc.

The only thing is, he had an acrimonious split with Rangers, and there has been a lot of passion towards him which is still being jumped on with glee on social media every time we lose.

Fact is Mark has change formation several times but hasn't really changed the passing game approach and I don't think he will, that's for certain. The defensive comments seem a little reactive to what Forest have been experiencing, so this former club feedback seems to be morphing a little.

So thanks for the feedback, I'm sure we agree on certain things to a degree and are spotting others. I don't think it needs you to keep repeating it, we don't make management decisions for the club so you're probably advised to move on

..............

That off topic comment fits your own fans much better than ours, however rarely that is. Our expectations are generally cautious in recent years, in fact one of your own commented on it pre-match.

Our boards are quieter generally as some (like me) comment less, some have departed and ja doesn't seem to get new blood. I don't know why generally, but after a time, I suppose mud slinging with oxygen wasting idiotic simpletons with no self awareness like yourself, gets tiresome

You've not being missed.

Oh come on Igor, you're fooling no-one. You only come on these boards to throw insults around, if we all go; what then?

Igor go and rethatch your mud bothy or hole in the ground and leave this thread to Forest fans eh?

Didn't Warburton win the league cup? Maybe I'm mixing up the competition you beat Celtic in.

McKay is doing alright, looks to be one of our most creative players and always a danger. Cummings has been used sparingly so far and it's difficult to tell. He scored a couple in the cup but also missed a fair few decent chances. I guess out of the two, he's the one who needs a little more time to get up to speed

MacKay has come straight into the team and established himself straight away. Scored 4 with 4 assists so far.

Cummings has taken longer to adapt to the Championship but has scored two or three very classy goals in a limited number of First Team appearances.

His greatest signing so far has been Daryl Murphy from Newcastle; was second highest Championship goal scorer, [before last weekend] within the group of players on six goals each.

I think most Forest fans are pinning their hopes on the short term on Vaughan coming back into midfield and helping to organise it a bit. I get the feeling Bridcutt is holding back a little with his challenges as he feels he a little isolated at times in there. It may help having Vaughan alongside to help with the burden.

Warburton’s best signing of the season would arguably be a contract renewal for Lichaj.

Yes why persist with Darikwa at fullback for so long when he can't tackle?

The knowledge that they need to score twice in order to draw has unsettled our forward line imo.

Our defence has been porous all season. MW is quoted in the NEP saying Lichaj is a better defender than Darikwa. It begs the question why has Eric had to wait until now to get his first Championship game.

If Darikwa comes back in on Saturday Warburton will go down several notches in my estimation.

I was also baffled as to why Murphy even started on Sunday after playing twice for Ireland, while Brereton didn't even make the bench.

I also think Bridcutt was at fault for the first (and second) goal. For the first he seemed to want to pass Vydra on to somebody. This would have been fine if Bouch had started. He didn't so Brid should have tracked his man.

For the second he was in a poor position when Nugent received the ball and didn't make much effort to get to him.

For both goals once the scorers had go away from Bridcutt I thought Mance might have closed down a bit quicker

I didn't know that, but then again I don't often look at lower league football.

I don't single out Bridcutt who I think has been generally good, for their 2nd, look at Dowell stand and watch while Bridcutt had been pulled out of position, he can't be two places at once.

Every goal can be broken down to an error for someone.

If we had taken two of our chances would Derby suddenly have a poor defence?

There is still loads to improve on all over the pitch, but we are a better team than we were 12 months ago, 6 months ago or even at the start of the season.

The next 3 games look good fixtures for us, Burton, Hull and Reading are all games we can play our football.

Agree that we must break the habit of conceding early thou, really doesn't help 🤔

posted on 18/10/17

Strett, I don't like to single out any player and you are probably right about Dowell. I think the point really is that Bouch should be playing as I suggested before kick off.

Four attacking midfielders in a five man midfield makes us unbalanced especially when our back four is so fragile at the moment and needs all the help it can get.
