Bye bye snake, Lesta need a good humbling and relegation may just bring it.
O piteous spectacle !
O noble Shakespeare !
O woeful day !
I doubt whoever you get is going to match the calibre of Ranieri. That man was class and he was one of the good guys.

so much better?
ok Craig your're out of your depth as a manager but you deserve so much better so carry on ... keep us in the bottom 3, good lad!!! lol
no sentiment in football, correct decision. nice bloke and done a lot of good for us, but as always in football, things change quickly.
Thanks for everything Shakeym tou deserved better and you are probably better off out of it.
8 games thats a fair judgement
Who trhe f would want to come to work for these owners.
If we dont win the next 8 games they will be out by christmas.
Recipe for disaster. We should be looking for a manager
with a oood championship pedigree ready for next season.
We're only making plans for Nigel, bet Stringer ( and Nev) cant wait for that one Llaugh>
Managers available
Frank de Boer
Peter Taylor ( already left Gillingham)
David Moyes
Mark Magoo
Appleton (good coach
Arry
Cant think any manager already in a job is going to be rushing to work for our owners. Dyche, Howe
Thanks Shakey sure you will get another job.

I'd want to go and work for those owners. Work for 8 games and then get my 3 year £1m a year contract paid in full.
Yes please!
Seriously though, I hope they have a plan. Otherwise this looks insane!!!
Should give the job to Lineker
Don't forget the owners pay for hookers for them as well. No wonder Pardew is next in line.
Should go for someone that's not normally on the manager merry go round of failed managers who always get jobs.
Someone like Derek McInnes of Aberdeen,10th of the budget of Celtic but on level points so far this season.
What's Tim Sherwood up to these days?
"What's Tim Sherwood up to these days?"
--------
Between you and me, he's just had a big brown bag pulled over his head, been thrown into the back of a van and taken to a secluded hideaway where he can't access a mobile phone for the next two weeks or so.
He will be joined shortly by Gordon Strachan and Steve McClaren.

You mean he's bumped into Ace then?
That may be a different kind of secluded hideaway.
My mistake.
Looks more like the list of candidates the FA are lining up for when after Southgate fails.
I think a manager that knows a little bit more about the Premier League can get a lot more out of this group of players that Shakey was getting.
We weren't getting thrashed, but we didn't know how to win either.
I'd take Alladyce right now. Some names being banded around scare the sh!t out of me

I'm surprised if anyone is surprised. They got rid of Ranieri after he won the league, so the stand-in PE teacher was never going to get much leeway.

I'd agree with this. I think SA is the sort of manager that will stabilise us. Let's face it take the PL winning season out and basically we've always been a side flirting with relegation.
I think we have to forget about momentum from the PL winning season now and build again. Any momentum was basically lost with the poor recruitment immediately after. Allardyce isn't a manager who will take you to another level, but it feels we need a short term period to build some solid foundations - and it's unlikely he'd be in it for the long haul anyway.
It's an interesting decision that the owners have to make. We're not in a relegation battle yet so we probably don't need a short term firefighter. I'd like to see us go for someone with the plan of having them here for 5 years.
I'd break the bank for Eddie Howe. Realistically, he's probably taken Bournemouth as far as he can and it will be years before their new stadium is ready. Give Bournemouth £5m combo and promise Howe the funds to get Arter and King. Wagner might also be an interesting option and is similar to Howe in many ways (and an eye for Bundesliga talent).
Realistically, I think it'll either be an international manager (is Hiddink available?) or a UK manager out of work. Pardew would be OK for 6-12 months, his track record shows that he has an instant impact before everything goes sour. We'd then be in the same position as we are now.
