Dyche wouldn't swap a safe job in Burnley for you. You should try and poach Neil Warnock from Cardiff!

There's fack all available in the managerial market as it is and it's staggering that once again the owners have acted without lining anyone up....

At least if all else fails, Harry Redknapp would take the job

He said he would be interested in Leicester, but he's not ready right now. Enjoying life too much

What's interesting is Allardyce saying that this is a re-building job. So he obviously feels that the title winning side has come to its end and we need to build from the ground up

I'm sure Rudkin and Macia will have that covered....

That's not what he said to Sky. He said he's not interested in a re-building job and he is interested in the US national job. Perhaps he is being a bit more polite on talk sport

Can't say this feels like awfully bad news right at this moment. For his qualities, I'm not convinced that signing Big Sam truly addresses the issues at hand.

Although it'll probably feel like significantly worse news when we see a picture of Gordon Strachan holding a Leicester scarf above his head.

Sounds like a job for Nigel Pearson.....

It got to be Pardew

Delusions of grandeur from Leicester fans suggesting Ancelotti

They had a freak season and followed it up with a decent showing in the CL. They are relegation candidates by nature as a PL club, this is just a re-balancing.

Yous are essentially Blackburn after the PL win, all downhill from here.

Dyche would be a good appointment if you can get him to take it otherwise Phil Brown or Alan Curbishley should be hired.

I’m rather fed up with the same old names and faces coming to the fore, wishing to “give it a go”, and eventually failing within a short space of time, having fallen by the wayside and then being spun out the door. There follows the usual heart warmer “We thank — —for his efforts but the club needs a new direction” etc. It’s boring now and you hear it all the time. This club should be above all that now, way beyond plummeting to those depths.

Surely to god the club must have contacted, and made a positive approach for a loyal, dependable boss with an excellent managerial history ahead of taking this extraordinary action. Someone with a real desire to take the club into the next stage, and not merely fend off the real prospect of relegation.

If the club had already decided to relieve Craig Shakespeare of his duties then why wasn’t this done during the International Break giving a reasonable time to get the ball rolling in the quest for his successor?

What Leicester fans are saying we can get ancelotti? I haven't heard anyone say that.

We are a Blackburn purely because of the shambolic running of the club behind the scenes since the title win. We didn't have to become a Blackburn and I don't think anyone expected us to repeat the miracle season

'Burnley give Sean Dyche permission to speak to Leicester'

Interesting. I can imagine he's sick of commuting up the M6.

What is it with other fans telling us what, how and who we should accept of our club?

Ridiculous really

I can't see it, but this would suggest Ancelotti is 4th favourite
